I ate at this establishment before the building was closed for renovations, and ate there just a few days ago for lunch. While the atmosphere is nice, the food is simply poor quality diner food served in a nice atmosphere. I simply don’t know why people even come to this establishment. The atmosphere is wonderful and the new lounge is awesome, it must be the booze because the rest is terrible. I had the Spicy French Dip for lunch. I expected nicely carved roast beef, a piece of pepperjack cheese, a few onion rings on a crisp panini served with a tasty and ample amount of flavorful au jus. What I received was some of the above, smothered in the cheapest brown gravy with a little sauce cup of yet, more of the terrible brown waxy tasteless gravy. What I recived was not Spicy French Dip, it was a sloppy roast beef and gravy sandwich of substandard quality. The Coors Light, however, was good. Needless to say, after two (2) tries, I won’t be back again. I could have got the same thing at the Queen City Diner or Effie's Charcoal Chef and I’m scared to eat there.

I made a reservation a week in advance for Valentines Eve and I was seated at a makeshift table set up on the dance floor in front of where the band was to play. The table had a wobble to it every time you happened to lean on it. I ordered a salad with dinner and had no silverware on the table, had to ask for bread, and when dinner came it was luke warm at best and the vegetables were cold. My wife ordered a salad with samon and it was fine but the samon was cold sitting on top of the lettuce. I also felt the staff was not pleasant at all, from the hostess to the food runners. Needless to say I won't be back.
