I came here with my boyfriend and told us it would be a 10 min wait but it was actually 20 mins. We decided to sit at the bar while we wait for our table. The drinks was great. Our server was very polite and attentive. I had camarones con chipotle, and my boyfriend had the carne asada which was really good. Big serving at a reasonable price. The salad was really good, and you get to choose with dressing, I chose Italian and you should too ! Overall I had a good experience with the service and food. Def would love to come here again but sadly I came here on vacation lol

I really like the fajitas here and the servers have all been nice to me. But, their salsa is disappointing.

The decor is fun and the tortillas are big and chewy. I ordered the carne asada and the meat was tasty with lime but not good quality as it had shown to be tenderized from a machine. Still not too tender either. Their queso is gross.

Great eats at a great price. The manager is so awesome, made sure my sister's birthday was perfect! Thanks for showing what southern hospitality is all about.

I came to Lupes on a Friday night with 7 other people. We got there at 6:30pm and we were told the wait would be 30 minutes to an hour. They gave us this slip of paper with our number and we are responsible for watching boards placed by the bars and outside for our number to pop up. It would be nice to see them invest in some sort of system that can text you versus going crazy watching the board. While we waited we were able to order drinks from the bar and proceed outside. They also have staff that come around to those waiting outside and take drink orders. I think this is a nice offering and enhances the experience (as well as I'm sure revenue for them). This location offers quite a bit of outdoor space that is open to those waiting which is nice and people are on top of each other etc. So we hit a snag while we were waiting. Our number pops up on the board (BINGO!). We walk in and the guy tells us that he doesn't think the table will work as they thought there were kids in our bar. Great. So what you're saying is that we have to continue to wait. Joy. So we march back outside. Thank goodness you can drink outside...the group ordered another round. Soon my patience was almost wore out. I went back in (pulled out a little attitude) and inquired about our table and the inconvenience. He apologized and offered some apps to our table once seated. Shortly thereafter he finds us outside and walks us in to our table. Finally! After sitting down guacamole, queso, salsa and chips appeared. Fantastic! We will take it and your apology. I am not a big guac person but holy guac it is some good stuff! The foodies in the group enjoyed it too. Our server came and took our drink order. He was a very nice guy and had some personality. Refreshing. Our drinks too a little longer than expected but he stated it was a new bartender. No big deal. I had the skinny margarita and it was very good. Next to order food. I had my heart set on the flautas all day! And flautas I ordered! Yes! They were as good as I remembered too. Our group seemed happy with their food and the service. I will continue to return to Lupe as I enjoy the food and drinks and during happy hour prices are good.

Went on a handful of dates here and we really enjoy the combo steak/chicken fajitas! The meat is very good quality and all the other fixins that come with it are fresh and sooooo good on their amazing tortillas. I also tried out their Prickly Pear margarita last time I went. Oh lord I have seen the light! It was simply delicious and strong enough to hit me but not too strong where I couldn't drink it. Simply perfection. The only thing holding me back from that illusive 5 star rating is the price. An $8 margarita is a bit more than I can afford on an average basis. The fajitas for 1-2 is about $20 which for a good date night is great, however it can't be a weekly treat for us. Maybe one day when I am making a wee bit more.... However, great restaurant! I highly recommend for dates, family special occasions, and really any sort of treat!

Very good for a chain. You must try the fajitas. They offer some different meats than your usual fajita fare, like pork and lobster tail. Dee-lish. The tortillas are large are thin. Definitely can taste the buttery, flour flavor in each bite. The patio is large with a lovely rock garden and brightly-colored Adirondack chairs for you to sit in as you wait for a table. That's the only thing...sometimes the wait is a bit long. The chicken Lupe is also a highlight with a chicken breast topped with chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro, Serrano peppers, and melted Jack cheese. I prefer it del mar which mean they add grilled shrimp and a creamy roasted red pepper sauce on top. Muy bueno!
