Astonishing Cochinita Pibil. I truly wanted to try one of each but cashier was very inflexible to sell anything a la carte. Worth trying it tho.
Response from the owner - a week ago
I promise you our cashier was only following our protocol. But I couldn't be happier to hear that you loved the Cochinita Pibil! You're more than welcome to join us many more times in the future to explore our whole menu. Thank you for this excellent review! -Gilberto

I love the vaporcito tamal. Simple and delicious. Nice place for those who want to know more about food from Merida, Yucatan. Cochinita pibil is very famous and worth a try for those who love pork. Agua fresca very refreshing and fair prices.
Response from the owner - a month ago
I like the way you order, Gilnei! Thanks so much for reaching out here. Take care 'til next time. -Gilberto

Really fun boozy brunch! Waitress just kept the pitcher on the table. Food is tasty and good for sharing with a big group. Great prices as well.
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Hello, Rosaura. We don't have waitresses or alcohol in our establishment, as we're in a food court (Mercado La Paloma). Hope your review will find its way to the right business' page! -Gilberto

The most amazing place in LA I am a little bias because I am a Yucatecan American. The flavors of the food from this beautiful place are so amazing and this restaurant does an amazing job at bringing a little bit of Yucatan to us here in LA. The food is always fresh and as authentic as it gets.
Response from the owner - a month ago
The most amazing place in LA? Cristina, I can't express what that means to me. It's all I could ask for knowing the meal and always impress, and I sure hope we'll get to see you back for another bite soon! -Gilberto

Cute, unassuming place, very reasonable. Had delicious cochinita pibil tacos, and Agua de chayo- so refreshing!

Amazing brunch. They were way understaffed and still good service. Unlimited homemade Chios and green chilli salsa. Huevos rancheros was served uniquely but delicious. Huge margaritas. Bottomless for ,17 bucks. Great atmosphere. Mostly twenty something. Older couples and families avoid . great spot

Hi, Leisha. It's awesome that you took the time to share such great feedback here on Yelp, but I'm afraid you've left this review for the wrong place. We don't really serve brunch or alcohol. We're a Yucatecan food stand inside of Mercado La Paloma. Maybe you could still give us a shot sometime! All the best, Gilberto

excellent, authentic Mexican food... not your typical tacos and tortas, this place will make you want to visit southern Mexico. I usually have the Chochinita and the Chicharron tacos... sorry mom, these guys are good!
Response from the owner - 3 months ago
Thanks so much, Rafael! It's great to hear that you love the dishes. Don't worry, I won't tell Mom what you said here. ;) -Gilberto

Simply amazing food and the price is very reasonable. I usually go with Tikin-xic (grilled fish) and wash it down with a guanabana.
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Excellent choices, Scott! A great combination. Thanks for sharing this here, and I hope you'll be back to see us again soon. -Gilberto
