I'm very happy this is coming out, and so soon! A light-hearted adventure game is just what I need right now.
The first episode of the new 'King's Quest' adventure game launches later this month.

I love these games. Very happy they're releasing a new one.
'Rayman Adventures' is an awesome looking 'endless runner.'

My rebuke of Apple's decision.

"What’s really dragged my enjoyment of the game down, down, down is the Batmobile itself. What sounded very cool when first announced is actually the least fun thing about Arkham Knight. The car drives passably well, but the streets of Gotham all feel a bit narrow for it. Forced Batmobile-based platforming missions are tedious and frustrating. And Batmobile combat is extraordinary only in how horribly boring it is. Switch into Battle Mode, strafe this way and that dodging extremely slow, telegraphed attacks from enemy tanks, and then shoot them back until they explode. Rinse and repeat. Good grief, whoever thought this would make for interesting gameplay really doesn’t understand vehicle-based gaming."
This won't be spoilery unless you count a discussion of graphics, mechanics, and so forth spoilers. I've been playing on PS4, and am a few hours in. Hardly enough time to judge the game as a whole, but enough to give some early impressions. And first impressions are crucial, I [...]

"This is my favorite series of games. Even my least favorite of the bunch I consider much better than the average release. In ranking them, I am merely trying to express what it is about each that makes it better or more enjoyable than the others, and what makes it worse. In the end, I’m just happy I’ve had the fortune to play each and every one of them."

Mostly, I'm curious what this new "optional" movement mode for Geralt is. But other stuff, like a stash, is cool too.
You have to hand it to CD Projekt RED---they listen to their fans. While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was riddled with bugs, annoyances, and other problems, the developer has worked tirelessly not only to fix these issues, but to make the game more playable all around. Granted, I do think [...]

Not really surprising, though still pretty lame.
The video game publisher was aware of the new Batman game's many PC performance issues, according to sources.

"Bungie promises more details soon. To read more about this particular olive branch, you can check out the Destiny blog. I give the developer kudos for responding to fans and listening to feedback, even if I still think $20 for a few digital items is way too expensive and nobody in their right mind should pay for it.

Not that all Destiny players are in their right mind, of course, but that’s another story for another time."
Bungie is trying to make things right with upset 'Destiny' fans.

"The most fanatical Destiny player I know also happens to drink energy drinks on a daily basis.

I don’t understand either obsession, personally. Destiny is fun, but it wants to be in a committed relationship and I’m just not ready for that. And energy drinks like Red Bull are shabby substitutes for a cup of coffee. (And the only Red Bull that will ever have a place in my heart is the original.)

But who am I to judge? If you want to wed yourself to a sci-fi shooter and dance to its merry grind, that’s your choice. If you want to quaff cloying quasi-soda drinks filled with lord knows what and branded vaguely as “energy” knock yourself out.

And if the makers of both Red Bull and Destiny see a connection between the two, much like the makers of Halo believed gamers were all into Mountain Dew and Doritos, well more power to them."
Activision's partnership with Red Bull is a smart, unobtrusive marketing move.
