Founded in 1862, The Frankenmuth Brewery is one of the oldest breweries in the country and is proud to be known as Michigan's Original Craft Beer. Today, we are happy to provide high value, classic meals, hand-crafted Michigan-made beer and exceptional customer service.

Located in Frankenmuth, Michigan's Little Bavaria, we are known for our award-winning lagers and ales. Enjoy outdoor dining and patio seating along the beautiful Cass River on one of our three decks.

Take a free beer tour where you can learn about our beer, brewing and bottling process. Visit our retail shop and take home a six pack of our hand-crafted beers, rootbeer and German-style growlers.

Frankenmuth Brewery, housed in the historic 4 story, 28,000 square foot building is an exciting destination for food lovers and beer aficionados alike.

food was decent and tasted good The beer was great Our server was awesome and very knowledgable. Great view though it was raining when I went. Didn't get to take the tour while I was there. The thing I didn't like though was I wanted one of the glasses the beer was served in that just said frankenmuth brewery not the one they sell at the counter with Heff the weiner dog printed on them

Great brewery overlooking the Cass River. Excellent food and beer. Ate here a few different times over the course of three days and was pleased each time we came back.

We took the tour of the brewery. The tour lasted 15-20 minutes. They give them every hour on the hour. Try to avoid the lunch hour- it's a little hectic. Interesting and informative.

I loved the decor, and it was nice to see a pretty modern looking place like this in the area. The beer was pretty good (nothing too special), and same with the food, but I still had a good time visiting. They've got some unique stuff on the menu. Tried their grilled cheese sandwich, enjoyed it. The fish and chips was served in a good portion and I had no complaints. Our server wasn't the most excited person I've ever seen but I doubt he was representative of the entire wait staff. Prices were fair. All in all a good place to check out, especially if you need to get away from all the oldschool German style buildings :P

get the double vision craft beer. you won't be sorry. outside was a little buggy.. but the sun was down and it was OUTSIDE. .. maybe bring bug spray. food was great. most if the places in Frankenmuth are let downs and dirty. this place was refreshing after a day if disappointments.

Decore of resturant is very cool and mascot is amazing, who doesn't love a dachshund. Food and beer are just ok though. It's a good place to stop for lunch but I think in this town there may be better. If you can't get into anywhere else than this is definitely ok but is for sure my second choice in Frankenmuth.
