This Dearborn article makes such good points why we should not compare ourselves to our competitors. After years of being in real estate and now real estate education, I couldn't agree more. If you spend your time competing rather than serving, your time is wasted and it will hurt your bottom line.
This is not just for schools but rather for any business.

I've known this was coming, dreaded it and now I've used Q & A for a bit. Of course, I wanted to wait to see if the consumer would use it. They did and I was ready with an answer - 4 days late!!! The notification system was hard to understand and it isn't as smooth as it should be but I can see an improvement. Since then, I've responded quickly. Only time will tell if this feature benefits me as much as reviews continues to be for my business. I dreaded them too but now I love them. ~Sheila Hensley
