Downtown Arena: Since 2008, there has been a push from the Katz Group and city council to build a new arena in the downtown core at 104 Avenue between 101 Street and 104 Street, but funding disagreements have stalled the talks.

If you care about your animal, do not let them stay here. My dog was injured here and the staff did not attempt to contact me when it happened, nor did let me know when I came to pick him up and pay for his stay. When I got back into my vehicle I noticed he had a tear in his skin adjacent to his eye! His eye was droopy and red. Upon this discovery I went back into the facility to a red-faced staff member who admitted she neglected to tell me what happened. This facility is understaffed and over-crowded with dogs. Admittedly I should have seen the warning signs of their neglect as a pet care provider as my dog picked up giardiasis (intestinal parasite due to lack of cleanliness) from this facility which took months and multiple veterinary visits to remove from his intestine. STAY AWAY from this place.

Arrived about an hour late but did call 45 minutes later to let me know he was on route. Was very thorough in trying to identify the cause of the problem with the gutter/downspout. Very professional and communicated well with me through the repairs ensuring I was comfortable with the work that would be done. A receipt was provided. Would definitely use The Gutter Doctor again.

Bought my MINI Cooper in Ontario and always liked the quality of service at MINI Downtown (Toronto). Since moving to Edmonton, I have had nothing but problems with Edmonton BMW's service team. I'll break it down by visit. I've had to bring it in 3 times in 2 months and there are only 17,000 km on my MINI. 1) Brought my MINI in for an oil change and to put on my summer tires. After taking it home, I noticed scratches on my rear bumper, which seems to be common after reading other reviews. The sunroof was also not working as smoothly as before I brought it in. 2) Had to bring it back in to have the scratches and sunroof fixed. Not to mention the check engine light came on shortly after my first visit. They buffed out the scratches but probably should have replaced the bumper since the polish would inevitably wear off. Not even an apology for the initial scratching. Diagnostics identified engine misfires and no other issues. 3) A couple weeks later engine light came back on again after doing the same hard left turn that caused it to come on the first time. I called in and let them know that I had discovered some online information about hard left turns causing the CEL to come on. The service "advisor" condescendingly told me not to believe what I find online. I asked to come in as soon as possible as I had the week off. They said the earliest I could come in would be two weeks so I reiterated this week would work better and magically a spot opened. (always ask twice about dates, don't believe the initial timelines they give you). Should also mention I was on hold for 10 minutes going back and forth between the service advisor and the scheduling person. They are severely short staffed and incompetent. Really wish there was a closer MINI dealership but for the next couple years will have to put up with them. For the BMW/MINI brand, their quality of service is well below par. For those not bound by free scheduled maintenance and warranties, I hear good things about Pug City for MINI/BMW servicing. Yet to check them out though.

Rude and inattentive front desk staff. While trying to check in she was on the phone. Once she got off she said "oh god why me" - very unprofessional. Room was decent aside from some hairs on the towels. Wouldn't stay here again.
