Very good initiative. One will wonder how many elephants fall pray to the poachers.

This is a lovely place where you can see and feel the real baby elephants and hear their stories from the very dedicated keepers. Arrive before 11am, the public visiting and viewing time is 11am-12am. The young elephants are so lovely and they each have a story that is heartbreaking. A must-do, especially if you are visiting the Karen area and the National Park. The map on this page is exactly right. From Nairobi, go down Magadi Road. You will see Banda School on the right hand side. On the opposite side is Banda Gate - keep going, it is the next gate.

This is NOT where this is. It's at Banda Gate on Magadi Road.
