Why business loan statistics can lie. This is why you shouldn't believe every statistic that is thrown at you - http://ow.ly/xjBV5 #loanstatistics #statistics
Loan statistics lie. Said it. This is why loan statistics can mislead. Not all loan statistics are relevant, see why and what is really true

There is no karma sometimes...

I went to the hospital with my Mum earlier. Parked outside and bought my ticket. An elderly couple then pulled up looking for a space so I moved my car down to the next bay along the road.

Good deed eh?

As it turns out the next bay down was subject to residents parking permits and I got a ticket. Thanks #crawleyboroughcouncil . I look at one sign, pay, do a good deed then get fined.

I just hope my fine goes towards funding the 5 people that turn up in a council van to trim one rhododendron bush in our road. Great use of resources council. 1 week into a new council, how long until the next local elections...

Having never made it through airport security without being stopped, even when flying domestically, is it even worth me trying to book a holiday now they have increased airport checks??

Less hair than I used to have, not much taller
Introduction
Father of a teenage girl (frightening stuff..) married to Bren and living in Crawley.

I run my own commercial finance and small business advisory company.

Former Bank Manager who saw the light and decided that some businesses actually need more than someone that just says no.

My downside is that I always, always, get stopped by airport security no matter whereabouts in the world I am. I claim to have been stopped and searched more times than anyone I have ever met.

Notwithstanding the above, I am an honest and professional person. I run Lime Consultancy, which advises businesses on how to best finance their development. This includes all aspects of business funding from property development to cashflow. I have a particular interest in crowdfunding.

I can often be found at 4N networking meetings, usually turning up for breakfast and a natter with anyone willing to listen.

For my sins I am a Tottenham supporter, so years of pain and disappointment actually fit very well with a career in banking. Away from the hurt that Spurs bring, I enjoy walking Harry the dog, especially when it involves popping into the Royal Oak for a pint on a summers evening.
