Upon further investigation, it seems that erroneous party here is dr.dk, sending the wrong content-type. When I open a random .xml file in Chromium, it actually parses it (colorhighlights the attributes and valules) and complains about a missing style-sheet.
The screendump posted suggests that they send a text/plain rather than application/rss+xml

Still firm on my belief though. Special-purpose XML formats have no place in a general purpose-browser.

jeg synes tit at jeg bliver overrasket over hvor lidt antikke ting er værd, hvis ikke lige at det er noget en eller anden berømt der har lavet det eller haft det. Lige som i de der programmer hvor folk kommer med alt muligt der har været i deres familie i generationer for at få det vurderet og så er det et par tusinde værd. (Og de bliver altid vildt skuffede).
