(Calling My Supporters Worldwide Help Me Move)

GRCAM Into Our Urban Communities This Year 2018

I created (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement in 1991 on a site called Gopher to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, in order for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos starting in Chicago. My goal was to recruit brave and smart like minded individuals to help me start my Christian business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago (GRCAI).

2018 represents the year of Fruitfullness and Increase according to Genesis 9:7 As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it. This Year’s Theme: Operation Online Exodus 2018. I am on a mission from God to share my vision with those who will listen to my plan to improve our inner cities in America and in time the slums in Africa. Servant of the Messiah Emmanuel, (GOD with Us) Matthew 1:23. This year I will be promoting my Christian friends who are Christian Entrepreneurs in business.

Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos is an extension of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement which is an independent virtual Christian organization, our focus on solving black issues through our investigative journalism which takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. If everyone who reads our blogs and listen to our online talkshow Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos, can help fund us by purchasing my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" Second Edition then our future would be much more secure online and offline.

(My Future Film: Hood Liberator Made In Chicago)

This year I am still looking for qualified film directors and producers who will work with me in turning my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition into a motion picture. It will be released across multiple platforms domestically and internationally. This film highlights the cause and effects of urban violence and living in black poverty.

In Chicago, there are two voices that claim to have their best interest in the African American community Reverend Jesse Jackson and Minister Louis Farrakhan but for twenty six years there has been another voice which has been overlooked by established black organizations in the city of Chicago. Since 2001, over 4,000 people in Chicago alone has been killed due to urban violence. His name is Emmanuel Barbee

This story focus on the experience of Emmanuel Barbee who face growing up in the inner city of Chicago, and how he survived in the hood. Perhaps the most important message in this film is Mr. Barbee’s vision to end urban violence in the city of Chicago and throughout the Midwest. His Christian organization the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute OF Chicago will provide an infrastructure for emerging artists and upcoming black entrepreneurs.

GRCAI represents a new movement in Black America which will be committed to addressing the need that goes well beyond the traditional service role of a black organization our focus is on an academic center, with strong focus on closing the gaps in African American health data by engaging research scientists to conduct innovative descriptive, explanatory and methodologic research and ongoing monitoring of socioeconomic, racial/ethnic and other social determinants of health and access to health care. GRCAI will play a vital role in the community through our economic approach, community empowerment, e-commerce, business creation and finance. GRCAI will comprise a unified body of people working towards a more prosperous outcome for the African American community.

GRCAI will introduce to the world a new strategy for resisting evil without creating new evils. But more importantly, the vision his creator has given him to share with Black America and others is a new way of thinking that yields a vision of peace more powerful than all the armies of all the nations of the world. GRCAI is about building a strong unified global community and providing basic resources to communities and families that want to utilize his programs and services. This is Emmanuel Barbee’s contribution back to his community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.

Synopsis:

This movie is based on Emmanuel Barbee, revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" Second Edition. The film depicts a place in America where people are deprived of most luxuries, and in constant struggle to survive. The burden of his struggle falls on Emmanuel shoulders as he tries to protect and help his mother with their daily needs. His family lives in the midst of violence wrought by local drug gangs, who control the neighborhood. Children living in those communities have a bleak future dealing with failing school system and trying to survive on a daily basis to adulthood. Emmanuel does his best to get others within and beyond his community to start a new movement in Black America which will bring about real change at the local level and in other cities, but he is unable to convince others to join his cause “Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos.” But his ultimate goal is to find thirty people within the United States to work with him in turning his vision into a reality.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will be membership based and private in order for them to weed out trouble makers. Everyone will be screen and must attend the mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge. No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist.

The Low Income African American Community:

The inner city offers few productive activities for those, who are trapped in American ghettos. There are some community organizations which offers programs for troubled youths, but space and funding are extremely limited. Apart from playgrounds and a few recreational centers, there are few safe places where children can go within the black ghetto. Capitalism benefits from poverty stricken communities, because it creates a black market, such as the drug trade in order to entrap career criminals to be imprison for the penal system this is capitalism 101.

Drug Gangs has a great influence on children in those neighborhoods. They are lured by the fast money as drug dealers or gun traffickers. Though Emmanuel never joined a gang, he occasionally found himself in a group of shady neighborhood kids, who committed petty crimes. Emmanuel steers completely clear of wrong doing throughout the book, as he has tries to be a model citizen. Emmanuel was chased out of his former community by criminals and street thugs during his street campaign. He relocated to North Chicago and begin creating online groups in 1991. He is on 300 social networks and he correspond with 125,000 people worldwide spreading his vision and trying to convince others to join his cause. His organization will fulfill Dr. King’s dream of ending poverty and structural inequality in the communities and cities they will serve.

His story presents the other side of the so called American dream. This film focus on children as young as ten years old who are already engaged in gang membership. There are several points Emmanuel mentioned in his book which are useful in understanding the social context of the urban poor in American society. First, his story addresses some of the causes of domestic violence. Emmanuel points out that the youth are robbed of their innocence by their social environment. Their attitudes are shape by violence that they encounter on a daily basis due to neglect from the broader society which is why Emmanuel calls for starting a new political party to address community issues and to create their own laws which would be compatible to the dominate culture. More resources are given from the federal government to combat international terrorism, because capitalism have an interest in protecting commerce more than urban terrorism which effects those who are trapped in American ghettos.

Secondly, his book presents the case that children could succeed if given a chance. Emmanuel exemplifies this by excelling when given the chance to attend college. The story also reveals a gross violations of human rights, depriving most of the youths of chances of successful futures. Established black organizations and career politicians who are supposed to maintain peace and order as well as look after the welfare of the community are the ones who corrupted the budget intended for the betterment of the people they were supposed to serve.

I am currently seeking legitimate film directors to help me turn my book into a motion picture. I call upon Film Makers, Writers, Poets, Performing Artist, Musicians, Actors/Actresses, Models. Once my panel select people during our open auditions I will discuss compensation with you behind closed doors.
This organization is open to artist who are not afraid to be themselves and not just what the music industry wants them to be.

This campaign is to get this movie made in order for me to start my Christian organization so that we can confront urban violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within our urban communities and cities we will serve. GRCAI will serve as a resource for 21st Century community building. Members will view themselves as political ambassadors of the freedom movement in Black America. We will use spoken word and hip hop performances, documentary films, stage plays, and panel discussions as our preferred means for reaching the masses.

GRCAI will take the lead in working in high crime drug and gang infested communities throughout the Mid-West and abroad in 10 countries in Africa to advance human rights and respond to the needs of endangered populations particularly the poor, the isolated, and the displaced through the provision of comprehensive and respectful services and the promotion of permanent solutions leading to a more just global society. It’s time for us as digital citizens to create a world that we want our children to grow up in it starts by turning my ideas into action.

What We Need & What You Get

* The proceeds from the book sell will help me fund this movie and to market the movie. The production cost, marketing, and traveling to push the movie in major movie theatres across the United States and around the world.

* My goal is to get this movie in schools, churches, community centers, and prisons.

* After you have purchased and read my book, if you agree with my plan to improve our inner cities then share my book information with your family, friends, place of worship and also at your local community center.

My book is just the beginning I want to be remember for trying to do something positive for my people who are trapped in American ghettos as well as doing something positive for my ancestral homeland Africa through my future Christian business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute. The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will provide an infrastructure for our local artist by bring “Black Wall Street” within the inner cities of America through promoting the Black Chicago Renaissance, which was a creative movement in Chicago’s “Black Belt” which gave rise to Black writers, political activism, and social change.

It’s my hope that GRCAI would become the Hub throughout the Midwest for emerging artists and upcoming black entrepreneurs. I am seeking 30 individuals within the United States who have read my story and have the expertise that I am looking for which are as follows: Investors, Business Partners, Christian Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs and Philanthropist.

I am also looking for legitimate artists such as film directors, producers, actors, stage managers, fundraisers, technical directors and marketers who can assist me with the daily operation of my business. I will discuss compensation and incentives with them behind closed doors. 26 years established black organizations have ignored my ideas and refuse to work with me as a result since 2001 over 4,000 people in Chicago alone have been killed due to urban violence Lord have mercy on my racial group.

The only thing at this point which is preventing me from starting my Christian business is the lack of manpower and the capital this is why I am on social media to get my message out to the public through my Youtube videos, my Social Groups, my Blog Postings, my Online Talkshow, and now through my revised book "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition. I am just one black man with a plan and a vision Black People fail to understand that it takes a team to make a dream work.

My goal was to recruit brave and smart like minded individuals to help me start my Christian business the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago (GRCAI). GRCAM is much more than a new business endeavor it’s a new system.

The mission of (GRCAM) the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement is to help raise awareness about the genocide which is taking place within our inner cities in America, in order for me to connect with other like-minded individuals who share my concern to form a legitimate coalition across the United States and around the globe for my cause Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos.

The mission of (GRCAI) the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago to eradicate urban violence in the city of Chicago while at the same time meet the social needs of the communities and families that want to utilize our programs and services. Change the discourse around local politics by injecting community voices into political conversations through policy research, community advocacy from a grassroots perspective. Solving black issues once and for all such as poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute will provide state of the art community based programs and services to inner city youth and their families in order for them to lead meaningful, productive and dignified lives.
The vision I have to improve Black America and Africa isn’t available to the majority of black people and others. I believe that stifles creativity and innovation.

This year I am encouraging everyone on my friends list and everyone in my social groups to make arrangements with me to come on the show and promote your products and services with my listeners from the podcast community. These are not just online groups for me to sell my book but rather groups for us to build our own network so we can be there for one another.

Community Assessment

Addressing the lack of resources in our communities is an important part of our mission and a priority for the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. Since needs can differ from community to community, each GRCAM staff will conduct community research. We hope through reading our reports, you will better understand GRCAM commitment to serving our urban communities and perhaps see an opportunity to partner with us in addressing our community’s needs nationwide.

Community Benefits

The Grass Roots Community Activist Movement aim to take the lead in community research in the African American community, outreach and education. We will offer charitable care and services under our nonprofit sector. My business is based on my experience I will use my story to teach our members how I came from nothing to achieving my dream by owning, sharing, and using my experience to help heal others through my Christian business called the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. We will use what we have to create something positive it’s called improvising. Only when we change ourselves can we legitimately demand change from others including the dominant culture. It is easy to criticize the white man, career politicians, and the government but it is difficult to confront ourselves. I will run my business the way I run my home drama free.

I will declare war on this Willie Lynch mentality within the black culture through my members. Personal change is possible when we have changed ourselves, we can then change our world. The reason governments are corrupt is because government is made up of people and people are products of societies which breed them.

I am calling for new leadership in Black America I have a vision and a plan which will help advance our people and those who work with us for given a chance. 26 years established black organizations in my city have overlook my ideas yet things are getting worse especially for poor blacks who reside in the inner cities. African Americans have been protesting and marching for equality in the United States for 52 years and still black people continue to chant no justice no peace there is no substance just slogans. African American from the lower economic class are suffering great harm from senseless violence, high unemployment, mass incarceration, police brutality, drug abuse, high illiteracy, inadequate healthcare and failing schools as a result of institutionalized racism.

It’s time for us as digital citizens to create a world that we want our children to grow up in it starts by turning my ideas into action. One way African Americans can fight back without marching and protest is by purchasing my book and participating on my online talkshow until I start GRCAI in Chicago. GRCAM is a global community of thinkers and builders I need your help to move GRCAM from behind a computer into urban communities that need our talent and skills. I believe this act of human collaboration across an open platform is essential to the low income African American community and our collective future.

My vision is to evolve beyond the internet and make our presence known in the city of Chicago by generating enough capital from my book sell in order for me to recruit and hire qualified individuals throughout the United States who can come to Chicago and work with me and Sister Rena with the daily operation of my business. We will use an open peer-to-peer social media campaign through my online talkshow until I am able to start GRCAI in Chicago.

I believe that building on peer-to-peer campaign is the best path forward to getting GRCAM off the ground. My aim is to empower the black community by reclaiming, rebuilding, and restoring the urban communities throughout the Midwest. I am seeking partners who share my long term vision for the future of the black community and want to help me build and start this new business endeavor. Those who support me in turn I will support them.

* Bail Reform – We will develop statewide cooperative alliance coalitions who seek to address the racial and economic inequities of cash bail and push to get our laws on the books through referendum.

* Police Reform – Advocate for the city of Chicago Council’s Public Safety Committee to implement a local ordinance mandating civilians on police trial boards.

* Increased Funding for Youth Service – Ensure equitable economic opportunities to underserved communities specifically Black youth organizations in the city of Chicago.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will be dedicated to transforming the Black community through our youth leadership development program. Our youth leadership development program will focus on building character, integrity, and accountability requirements.

Our participants will have exposure to social media activism, performing arts, and civic engagement. Our youth leadership development work will provide extra-curricular activities for young scholars in the short term and a pipeline of Black intellectuals and historically trained artists, advocates, and professionals who will incorporate cultural and racial identity by developing knowledge of structural, social, political, and economic issues. Through our community training programs we will be able to share and when possible monetize our work allowing for a uniquely independent perspective on issues impacting the urban community that we hope gain more attention in the academic and cultural mainstream.

GRCAI will serve as a resource for 21st Century community building. Members will view themselves as political ambassadors of the freedom movement in Black America. We will use spoken word and hip hop performances, documentary films, stage plays, and panel discussions as our preferred means for reaching the masses. All of our events will emphasize a focus on audience participation and allow for questions and answers. GRCAI objective is to empower young people through our arts programs, education, and civic participation. We will empower our members through our curriculum, and provide resources to aid towards their spiritual development.

To become a full-fledged social policy entity positioned to effectively address the complex issues facing African American residents in Chicago and beyond.

To become a world-renowned Black community research institution that combine academics, tactical vision and accessible communication.

To facilitate a youth leadership institution that connects social justice to the development of positive self-identity for Black youth.

GRCAI objective to improve the health and well-being of African Americans through direct advocacy, technical assistance, education, and community-based research.

The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will be membership based and private in order for me to weed out people who don’t care about inner-city youth, their families, or the black community. Everyone will be screen and must attend our mandatory orientation and sign the community pledge no exceptions.

No harden criminals, No active gang members, No urban terrorist, No pedofiles, and no half steppers allowed in my organization this is how I get down. GRCAI is open to all ordinary law-abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist. This is my contribution back to my community, society and throughout the African Diaspora.
