Hello my Canning Joy family! I know that I've been neglecting you guys and I have missed you so very much. 2016 was an extremely difficult year for me personally with family issues and the unbelievable heat here in Georgia. Hopefully 2017 will be a better year. I do have a winter garden and yesterday we harvested the Georgia Collards. We ended up freezing a large amount for future enjoyment. Anyway, to my Canning Joy family, I hope this new year will find your pantry and hearts very full.

Well...my dining room table collapsed so I have not had a chance to can so far...waiting on my new table to be delivered next week and I am so excited. It is a barn wood table and so perfect for me to spread out my veggies and canning. Will post updates when it arrives! In the meantime, let us know how your garden grows and your canning pings!

Hello everyone! So sorry I've been away. My elderly mom went off the mental rails again and has been in and out of the hospital for two months. My garden has been my refuge. I hope everyone's gardens are doing well. Let me know what you guys are growing and putting up.

Guys, just letting you all know that sometimes posts are flagged as spam without me knowing. Some allow me to post them to the feed after being flagged but others do not. I have no idea why it works that way. So, if you post something that is acceptable to Canning Joy but do not see it, it is not because I removed it. I just don't know how to share it when it does not have a green check on it.
