Everything but the desserts are allergen free. It's nice to get delicious food without scanning a menu for half an hour or asking staff a million questions. The chicken is great!

Delicious food. Great chicken, beans and rice, sweet corn, Maduros (plantains). Had it for lunch and I'll head back tonight for dinner. It was so damn delicious.

Read great reviews and decided to give Mami a try. Since it was my first time I stood in line at the cashier to see if my order was ready. When I asked the cashier if my order was ready, she kinda chuckled and told me that I needed to stand at the other end of the counter and then she went to check on my order. She told me my order wasn't ready and it would be out in 3-4 minutes, cool. As I stood at the end of the counter, there were two guys hustling out orders and occasionally blurting out people's names. Those guys never called my name. After 7-8 minutes, I walked up to 5 or 6 bags of food on the counter trying to see if my order was ready but I could distinguish one order from another. Those two guys never asked me if they could help find my order. Waited another 7-8 minutes, never heard my named called. Finally, the girl at the cash register looks at me and walks to the back, then, she starts rummaging thru the 9 bags of food on the counter. She looks up and tells me that she found my order. At this point, I'm not a happy camper. I waited 15-18 minutes and no one told me that my food was sitting right in front of me. It's like a Mexican fire drill inside Mami's place. Soggy chicken skin, ordinary beans and rice, and weird chicken soup. I don't get it but I don't think Mami really cares what a first time customer thinks. I know one thing Mami, I won't be back.

My husband and I eat here/take out from here at least once a week. Everything on the menu is really good particularly the chicken, yellow sauce, and the arroz chaufa. Don't expect anything fancy when you walk in because this isn't a fancy kinda place. Just good food freshly made.

Fantastic chicken. Hey it takes some effort to make plan grilled chicken special but they do it here. Grilled over lump charcoal with great smoked flavor.

Great place. The chicken is awesome, the plantains are great, you get alot of food, and they have horchata. Highly recommended.

I love this place. You can get a whole chicken with 2 sides for $15 or so plus the Chicha is on point and so is the Fried Yuca sticks. I go here every time I go visit my family on the way to and from the airport in Raleigh. The food has an amazing taste, and I'm Peruvian so I know what Peruvian food should taste like.
