Timberwolves and Sanford Health to Host Preseason Game in Fargo
Wolves to take on the Indiana Pacers at the FARGODOME on Oct. 10
The Minnesota Timberwolves will return to the FARGODOME this fall, marking the franchise's first trip back to the area since 2002. The Wolves are scheduled to take on the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. Sanford Health will serve as the presenting sponsor of the game.

"The Timberwolves are thrilled to be returning to Fargo this fall, especially with the great people at Sanford Health," Timberwolves President Chris Wright said. "We've played more exhibition games in the state of North Dakota than anywhere else in the country besides out home arena, and are continually impressed by the phenomenal basketball fans in the region. The Wolves and Pacers are both exciting young teams and will put on a great show for the fans this fall."

This year's game will mark the Timberwolves' seventh appearance in Fargo, where they've compiled a 2-4 record in exhibition play. The Wolves first visited Fargo during the inaugural 1989-90 season, and have maintained a strong relationship with both the city and the state of North Dakota since the franchise's inception. Overall, this will be the Wolves' 16th game in North Dakota, more than any other state apart from Minnesota, including four visits to Bismarck, three exhibitions in Grand Forks and two stops in Minot. Minnesota's most recent visit to the state came in an 111-107 win over Denver in Bismarck in 2008, with the last stop in Fargo coming in an 88-82 win over Milwaukee in 2002.

"Sanford's partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves began in 2008 and continues to grow," said Sanford Health Executive Vice President Andrew Richburg. "Providing health and athletic performance expertise through player hydration assessments and team consultations, we couldn't be more proud to work with the Timberwolves and the Lynx and look forward to being a part of their continued success."

"We are very pleased to welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves back to town, " Global Spectrum's General Manager of the FARGODOME Rob Sobolik said. "It will be a great event for the region and will be nice to showcase professional basketball in the FARGODOME again."

My wife and I had "floor tickets", ( around $85 each ), to the recent James Taylor concert. There was a problem with the tickets/seating, and we wound up leaving at intermission. I don't mean to sound cruel, but we were sandwiched between two extremely overweight individuals. *The woman sitting next to my wife was actually morbidly obese, ( somewhere around 400lbs, I'd say ). She was so big, that her girth was spilling over the seat spacer, and onto my wife, who was squeezed up next to me, like a sardine! When we complained to the usher, we were told that there was "little that could be done", and were offered one of the seats way in the back. I asked to speak with the floor manager, and was told that she was "unavailable". I, later, complained, via email and phone, to Fargo Dome officials, and got the typical corporate brush-off. IF YOU ATTEND A CONCERT AT THIS VENUE - BEWARE THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU! It completely ruined a rare a night out for us both. Fargo Dome officials need a plan of action to deal with this kind of situation, and obese individuals need to do the right thing, and buy two seats!

Really cool staff people. I'm a disabled veteran and didn't sit in the handicap area and the staff put me in an area that put me in a place that I could see the concert I went to perfent

Great facility to see Concerts, Sporting Events, and Live Theater Performances. Be sure to check out the timeline and tidbit posters hanging all along the main concourse! These tell you every major concert or event the facility has ever hosted, and even details attendance numbers, and historical tidbits.
