Roland Petit's Carmen will feature Ballet San Jose Artistic Director and international dance sensation José Manuel Carreño as Don Jose, partnering Principal Dancer Alexsandra Meijer in the title role on May 9 and 10. Starting at noon on Friday, April 25 and running through Sunday, May 4, Bay Area Dance Week is your chance to "explore the Bay Area's dance possibilities." Ballet San Jose is hosting three free events!

- Adult Class, Tuesday, April 29, 9:30 am: Free adult class taught by Ms. Klaers D'Alo and accompanied by one of our world-class pianists.
- Story Time Dance Along, Tuesday, April 29, 11:00 am: Ms. Hutter explores ballet fundamentals in this introduction to the Primary Division.
- Company Rehearsal Open House, Friday, May 2, 4:30 pm: Don't miss this opportunity to see Ballet San Jose's artistry and athleticism up close in this intimate rehearsal setting.
