SIMS.net data to sheets on a schedule
Below is an approach that I use to sync data from SIMS.net (our MIS) to a Google Sheet. We do this for a fair number of things now to keep stuff up to date automatically. The script I use to pull csv data into a sheet: function copyfromcsv() {      var file...

On our 1:1 Chromebooks we need to allow access to settings (adding home printers and the like). We set the students desktop wallpaper by policy - but if you pop into settings you can launch the wallpaper app and change the wallpaper for that session. Logoff it goes back to the school wallpaper. Keep an eye on V61 for ChromeOS - this has just been released for most devices on the Stable channel. On Lenovo N23 Yogas and Asus Chromeboxes (so far) there appears to be a bug in the login screen. I like the export to a sheet function. However, it seems incomplete. I'd like to click that once and then future assignments go into the same sheet. It would also be useful if a mark went into say a student had handed the work in. It almost does this. Any addons exist that do this? Otherwise I might have to get coding.....
