I like this painting a lot.
The invention of the paint tube in 1841 revolutionised artists’ ability to paint in the open air. The summer months also allowed for more prolonged studies of light. Here is a recently completed drawing that looks like it could be a companion piece to the drawing, that I created, below.
But, my intention was not to make a companion piece.
This is "Purple Tree & Cells II" that I created using archival pens on paper and that measures 6 x 6 inches.

A few days ago I completed this stylized drawing, which measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches. I call it "Twins" and I created it using a variety of pens on paper.

Here is a new (created 2 or 3 weeks ago) nonobjective abstract drawing that I call, "Trickling Down." I used a variety of pens on paper and it measures 8 x 8 inches.

This drawing was off to a bad start. I almost ripped it up, until I realized that the dress could echo the hair in color. So, here is this fun drawing, that I created using a variety of pens on paer.:
