Here's my new small drawing that I call "Post Election." Perhaps it should be called Post Election Blues.
It measures 5.5 x 5 inches, and I created it using a variety of pens on paper.

Nina Kuriloff is an artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

She has exhibited her artwork in galleries and colleges throughout the United States.

Most recently (June, 2014) she curated and had drawings included in an exhibit entitled, "Ubiquitous," that took place at Boricua College in N.Y.C.

She also had drawings included in a curated show called, "Nature: Beauty & Destruction," that took place in February, 2014. She had a drawing included in the juried "2013 Okanagan Erotic Art Show," in Vernon, British Columbia.

Several of her paintings were selected for exhibition in a group show at Omulgee Arts in Macon, Georgia, in May, 2013.

Her work has been selected for exhibition in approximately 30 juried competitions. One of these exhibitions occurred at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and another took place at the Heckscher Museum of Art, in Huntington, N.Y. A third occurred in a Small Works exhibition at New York University.

One of Nina's drawings was juried into the NURTUREart 2011 Benefit that took place at the Chelsea Art Museum in N.Y.C.

In 2006, her art was selected for an exhibit called “Ultimate Destination” that was curated by Martina Batan (Ronald Feldman Fine Arts). It took place at the DUMBO Arts Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Her artwork has been chosen for cover art for several chapbooks of poetry and online publications. And, her paintings have appeared in catalogs that have accompanied several exhibitions.

Nina is currently a self-representing artist, selling her artwork via the internet to collectors worldwide. She does exhibit her artwork on an occasional basis in curated group shows.

She enjoys painting organic forms and is greatly inspired by phenomena she sees in nature. These phenomena and her imagination inform her artwork.

Her website is here:
Additionally, she sells art on Ebay here as well as on Etsy here.
She is on G+ to network with other artists, photographers, art lovers, nature lovers and good people.
