We can never find the right words to describe the mask sculpture in the Penthouse suite. What do you think?

We stayed on the 28th floor of the building; an apartment with 3 rooms /comfortably sleeping 6. Bedding was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The view of manhattan was absolutely spectacular! However the building was undergoing some building work which was a bit of an inconvenience as there was no access to the balcony and the windows were very dirty! (Hence limiting the view) The other thing to point out was the seating ie dining table only had 4 chairs and sofas weren't enough for everyone to sit comfortably and there wasn't any vanity areas to get ready.

Very good Hotel in Upper Manhattan. Close to. Subway and much less noisy than downtown Manhattan. Apartments are spacious and service very good. I can highly recommend it.

Really really liked it. A one bedroom suite with small things that I liked such as the padded stool near the front door where you can sit and take off your shoes, the 3 shelf medicine cabinet in the bathroom, extra towels in every size plus more in the cupboards, the complimentary umbrella and massive storage cupboard in the bedroom, doorman, in the lobby: free internet (huge monitors) each computer with its own printer, decent size laundry facilities in the basement, daily New York Times for free, doorbells at suite's door, *very* good quality toiletries. Friendly, helpful staff who respond at lightning speed to requests. I wouldn't consider going to their new Park Avenue location over this one. Fantastic neighbourhood. Plenty to discover. The neighbourhood is what you make of it. Personally, it didn't take me long to decide that the Upper East Side was the place for me. Apart from the *amazing* thrift stores, the sheer character of the area should win anyone over. Everything is there. If you're a tourist and find the walk to the 96th Subway too tedious, I'd suggest using a bit of imagination and reading a Transit map where you'll discover the 96 Crosstown Bus 2 blocks north of the hotel that takes you to one of the many entrances to the Subway Station.

My spouse and I stayed here in December 2013 and we absolutely enjoyed it! Nice staff. Very quiet and spacious for New York! It also has a full kitchen and living room, which you probably would not get at even a higher end place such as The Hilton.I recommend this place to anyone(except snobs)! Convenient to good food and anything else you may need! We will definitely be staying here again! Plus free internet! Note: It is an older building, but we did not mind that one bit!
