If you're loving Google+ but finding it to be virtual ghost town while your friends slowly trickle in, the Google+Facebook browser extension incorporates your Facebook feed to your Google+ stream.

Circles are useful for more than just sharing with others

I have a "Read later" circle and a "Drafts" circle, both of which include only myself.

When I see a post I want to read later, I share it only with my "Read later" circle. Then when I have some time, I open that circle and read through (and delete) the saved posts.

When I have an idea for a post, but no time to write it, I draft a rough version and share it with my "Drafts" circle. I can edit the draft by using "Edit this post" from the dropdown menu. When the post is complete, I just copy it to a new post that I can then share to my circles, after which I delete the draft post.

You can easily extend these ideas to collaborative sharing and editing.

Have fun!

So many photos to port over :( Is there an easy way to import from FB to PicasaWeb? I tried dropico, but it doesn't seem ready for prime-time yet... To really make Google+ kick-ass, it will need to be able to import and integrate the information from other social media sites without the users even thinking about it.

‎40 GB of music almost finished uploading to Amazon Cloud Player! Now I can take all my music with me everywhere. They opened up unlimited music uploads this week; try it out if you haven't yet

I manually backed up and imported (thanks again Alex!), but this should help out those still looking for an easy solution.

Oh yeah, and Google Music. They have all the pieces; they just need to bring it together. I'm pretty impressed so far

Story
Introduction
I'm a Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect for Red Hat. I spend a lot of time investigating new technology, and playing with gadgets. I also develop, use, and evangelize Open Source software. I've contributed to WindowMaker, Gnome, KDE, Nautilus, soundtracker, RipperX, Voodoo Tracker, GnomeRSVP, MindFire, Sendmail, JBoss and many other projects.
Bragging rights
Two of my applications, VoodooTracker and GnomeRSVP, have been featured in the books Linux Music and Sound and Mind Hacks. VoodooTracker was also reviewed in the November 2000 issue of the Linux Journal. GnomeRSVP was used as part of a graduate research study in rapid serial visual projection at the University of North Carolina (2001). I was recognized by RedHat at their IPO for development contributions leading to the success of the Linux platform (1999). Most recently I was named HP's EU Idol for 2012 due to my work in Cloud Computing (an annual award selected by HP's leadership recognizing the top leaders and innovators in our business).
