I'm a Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect for Red Hat. I spend a lot of time investigating new technology, and playing with gadgets. I also develop, use, and evangelize Open Source software. I've contributed to WindowMaker, Gnome, KDE, Nautilus, soundtracker, RipperX, Voodoo Tracker, GnomeRSVP, MindFire, Sendmail, JBoss and many other projects.
Two of my applications, VoodooTracker and GnomeRSVP, have been featured in the books Linux Music and Sound and Mind Hacks. VoodooTracker was also reviewed in the November 2000 issue of the Linux Journal. GnomeRSVP was used as part of a graduate research study in rapid serial visual projection at the University of North Carolina (2001). I was recognized by RedHat at their IPO for development contributions leading to the success of the Linux platform (1999). Most recently I was named HP's EU Idol for 2012 due to my work in Cloud Computing (an annual award selected by HP's leadership recognizing the top leaders and innovators in our business).
