Irawa lives in a rural village in Bengaluru with her husband. They ran a small tea stall till she met a self help group supported by Concern India Foundation in her village.

The programme works with women from within the community and provides them with sustainable livelihood options.

Today, she and her husband own a small hotel and are living a much better life.
