One of the things I like to do a lot is combine my love of photography with my love of cycling, which is why I am so smitten with my Cosyspeed Camslinger system. If you shoot Micro Four Thirds or possibly even some DSLR and are fed up with backpacks then this could be the way to go for you. The great thing is that you never have to take it off, everything is right there in easy reach.

This was shot when I was out for a bike ride with the Camslinger system round my waist. So easy, pop the bike against the fence, hop over and take the shot. I have written a full review on the Camslinger system which you can read at https://paintedshots.wordpress.com/2016/07/04/cosyspeed-camslinger-160-review/ and which contains a short video showing how easy it is to cycle and shoot with this system.

Primary Colours

This is a composite of 2 shots taken around an hour apart.

When the light was nice on the field the sky was pretty boring and by the time the sky had becoming interesting the light had gone from the field, so I decided to merge 2 shots together.

You can see a video of how I did this, including the shooting process at https://youtu.be/oRE7TQlwt84

Shot on a recent trip to North Yorkshire I spotted this scene whilst driving along the coast from my overnight stay in Staithes to the North Yorkshire Moors.

There was no planning involved. The tide was coming in rapidly and I had about 15 minutes to park up, run down to the beach, set up and grab the shot.

After my early morning bluebell shoot at Dockey Wood last weekend (see previous upload) I had a nice stroll around Ivinghoe Beacon where I stumbled upon this little fella sprouting out of the side of the hill.

The early morning clouds were stunning and I could see right away that this would work in black and white.

I arose at 4am yesterday morning for the drive to Dockey Wood on the Ashridge Estate near Ivinghoe, Bucks.

When I arrived at 5:30 there were a number of other photographers already in the car park and in the wood and I suspect none of us were disappointed by the beautiful sunrise that bathed the wood in wonderful light. I know I wasn't.

I love the skies that only April brings. This year has been particularly interesting weather wise and the skies have been amazing.

I spotted this scene whilst driving along so I pulled up in a gateway. I could see that the light wouldn't last long as the clouds were very fast moving. I grabbed my camera and just went into the field with the lens that happened to be on it at the time which was the 45mm f1.8.

I was there for about 5 minutes and just kept shooting as the light moved across the land. This was the best.

Another from my recent trip to The North Yorkshire Moors to shoot the Flying Scotsman. When I found myself at Pickering station I was much more interested in shooting the people there than the train itself.
