I am not a fan of Thai food in general but this one is an exception for me because their food is super delicious. It is is one of the best Thai restaurants in San Francisco and I highly recommend. I am vegetarian and I really appreciate that they have a separate section in the menu listing all the vegetarian items. I normally get their Pad Thai Vegetarian. Their Golden Triangles (Thai Samosas) are also very delicious. The restaurant atmosphere is really nice; great for small or large parties.

Great place for first dates small cozy Thai restaurant. Marnee Thai has a papaya salad that is a must try and the curry there are really good. I first went there on a first date and me and my girl friend continue to go.

This place is tiny, but the food tastes great. On my last visit, I had duck curry with pineapple and it was good, but everyone at the table tasted each other's dishes, and we agreed that the Prawns And Scallop Pad Phong Karee was the best at our table. The yellow curry was the last popular. The servers were polite and the food came very quickly. We also enjoy doing take-out from here.

Great veggie pad thai! This is a small restaurant so call ahead and make reservations because they are very popular. When I took my family here, we had the samosas with potato and pumpkin seasonal flavors, which were fantastic. A word of caution, the extra powdered spice if you should ask for it is LEGITIMATELY SPICY! Be careful and use sparingly.

Never been a real big Thai fan, mostly because there aren't that many Thai places near where I live and its usually not the first thing I think of when I'm hungry. My family and I were all very hungry and could not afford to wait an hour at another restaurant nearby so we settled on this place and were pleasantly surprised. The BBQ chicken was fantastic as well as the pad thai, papaya salad, and soups. If I lived in San Francisco, I could see myself ordering take-out from this place on many occasions and will definitely be coming back again next time I am in the city.

Unfortunately, my experience at this place was less than excellent. I've had a much better Thai food at a similar price. For starters, our waitress was fast, but not very friendly. She tried to tell us how much food we should order. Then, I asked her for brown rice to go with my curry, not even thinking that it might be a problem. When the waitress brought it out, it turned out to be a colored white rice with little clusters not being colored through. In addition to that, my husband and I, got some pieces of meat that we could neither chew nor swallow, and we both have healthy teeth. I am not going back and I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends. I give it only one star.

I used to live by Marnee Thai and thus, have a sweet spot for this Thai city-chain. I was so excited when we found out Marnee Thai was on Caviar, so now that I have moved, I can order and have Marnee delivered to my door! I will say, Marnee Thai's foods leans a little bit on the sweeter side, in my opinion. They might use a bit more sugar to sweeten up the dishes than other Thai places, which isn't necessarily bad, but may be something worth to consider if you are watching your calories. Their Iced Thai Teas are definitely on the really sweet side, so you might want to consider extra ice. The Pad Thai is an easy Thai staple that you can't go wrong with. Pad Kee Mow is also delicious, though much spicier than I had thought it would be.
