Imagine, if you will, a time when laws are passed without approval from the citizenry. A time when government decides what rights people have, and which people have them. A time when troops can enter your home, without asking permission, sometimes even without any approval from superiors or a judiciary; they can then search for weapons, subversive literature, or anything else deemed inappropriate for a private citizen to own. What are you trying to hide, or destroy? What kind of guns do you have? How many bullets? What do you “need” a gun for, anyway?? A time when the freedom to assemble is restricted to designated areas; When speaking out against the state or police can get you attacked with chemical weapons, electrocuted, or shot. This is not a tale of far off lands in times gone by. It is a description of NY, MA, CT and many other states within our republic.
When they read your email, and listen to your phone calls, and check which websites you visit, Will you speak up? (oh, too late)
When they come for the guns, will you speak up? When they take away your freedom to choose which websites are accessible or appropriate, will you speak up? When they muzzle the press (even more) will you speak up? How far is too far?
