Looks like a helpful feature for the "shared with me" tab in your Drive.
Shared with me in Drive is getting a makeover, with shared files being grouped by the person who shared them with you making it easier to find them later.

All the content on the site is there for you to utilize in your weekly CyberSmart sessions, even if you are not in your digital immersion year.

I am still finishing up the iPad content, but it will be there soon.

Kia ora team,
Applications are now open for the Manaiakalani Innovative Teachers 2018 intake. This would be a fantastic opportunity as Ako Hiko educators are welcome to apply.

Manaiakalani teachers are inquiring into their practice, based on one of the six CoL achievement challenges. In 2018 we are specifically looking for teachers who are keen to apply innovation to their inquiry.
MIT-18 recipients will design a tool* to support their inquiry, and through this accelerate achievement for their tamariki.

*tool suggestions could include: a database, a system, an app, a podcast, a programme, a radio show, an online portal etc etc

Have a look at the attached doc for more information about the application process.

Kia ora Team,
Just a reminder that today is the last day to register for Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu. It is such a great way to build momentum and cross-cluster connections via blogging. If you haven't given it a try, I'd highly recommend that you register for next term.

See the link for more information and the registration form.

Kia ora everyone,
I have made an update on the Ako Hiko Website. All class Blogs can now be found on a SINGLE PAGE. I hope this will make blogs easier to access for learners, whanau and teachers. You can also access blogs from Manaiakalani and the other Outreach Clusters via the twitterfeeds at the bottom of the page.

Please feel free to use this as a portal to blogs when you are blogging with your learners. This will work the best if you make sure that your student's individual blogs are linked at the side of your class blog.

Let's get amongst it and create connections with other classes by commenting on their blogs. Remember that one of the best ways to direct traffic to your blog is to comment on other people's blogs.

Ngā manaakitanga,
Gerhard

Term 4 Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu - Registrations to join are now open until Tuesday 26th September. This has been an incredibly successful programme to build an authentic audience for our tamariki and build connections across our clusters. Please encourage teachers to register. Teachers already participating do not need to register again. Kia kaha e hoa mā!
