Central West Astronomical Society
Harmoniendum Musica Orbium - In Harmony with the Music of the Spheres
The Central West boasts some of the darkest sky in Australia making it an ideal location for amateur astronomers to come together to study the night sky.
We meet the first Friday of every month (except January) at the world famous CSIRO Parkes Radio Observatory. Meetings start at 7:30pm.
Dark sky nights are held twice a month at our two dark sky site.
Each year in July we hold our annual AstroFest where each year the prestigious David Malin Awards are announced.
