Thick cut pastrami with russian dressing and cole slaw on marble rye. I don't even need to say that it was good. You already know it was good. Also, I once bought a loaf of bread here to take to a dinner party. Everyone enjoyed it. I was hoping that the dinner party attendees didn't eat the bread so I could re-enact one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes, but that would require buying a fishing pole, as well as acquiring a fiance whose parents openly despise me. That was more difficult than just eating the bread, which was fantastic.

We rocked in at 11 am for brunch and there was no line. A table for two was open, but we opted for the corner of the big shared table by the window. The matzo brei was solid, like a big platter of eggs given structure by hidden carbs. A little on the underseasoned side, but I think the point is to salt and pepper it as you see fit, and then drown it in tapatio. Great accompaniment to the chopped liver sandwich, which I could definitely eat on the daily for breakfast or lunch. Sweet and savory, with the kick of offal at the end, and the potato salad side was perfect. Self-service for coffee/water and silverware is on the tables. Relaxing little place, so I'll definitely be back!

Had the Veggie Hash and the Club. Quaint little place in the shade of 24th St. Be prepared for a Pastrami-dominant menu at slightly higher deli prices ($12 average). Good place to nosh and nice decor filled with Jewish photos and newspapers. Great fries, even better hash.

Long lines but for good reason. The loaded fries, corned beef sandwich, chocolate Babka, you name it and it's delicious.

Awesome Jewish deli. Legit pastrami, matzo ball soup and pickles. The babka is lovely. Great staff. You must try it even though it can get way crowded.

Excellent traditional Jewish food. perfect pickles and corned beef! Actually better than several nice delis I've tried in New York City. Surprisingly NOT a kosher restaurant, though. They will happily put cheese on everything (not traditional, but yummy)

Bringing a bit of NYC and LA to the mission, you can now get your fix of Jewish comfort food. Small space and totally small portions with big prices. Looking for chewy,, crusty bagels? Sorry, only bialys served here.
