Stop and smell some roses today.
It is hard to forget what happened on 9/11. I worked in the South Tower and saw the plane hit just as I was coming up from the train station to the street level. The sight, the sound, and even the smell are as vivid today as they were 12 years ago. My company took space in Midtown until last year when we moved back, this time in 7WTC.
Each year gets a little easier to conquer my fears of being downtown, but I will never forget 9/11 and friends I lost for as long as I live.

- Author of Romance Novels, present
This native New Yorker is married to the world's most romantic man. I live in New Jersey now where I balance a demanding career with writing novels.
My characters are people you know - the girl across the street, the guy at work. Sometimes they are people you wish you could be friends with. Either way, they each have a story to tell that I am delighted to put into words for them.
