Very delightful find via good luck. Great looking and better tasting. Outstanding presentations. Hopefully they recycle their cute little plastic cups so they don't end up in a landfill or floating in the gulf!

Stopped in today for the first time and I absolutely love this place! I ate their gelato po'boy, and took home some macaroons, cupcakes and gourmet cake and a fudge brownie. I loved the service and how sweet and friendly they all were. Very cute place, really cool ambience with a great vibe. Definitely worth trying! Especially since I'm told there's no other place in the N.O. like it. We will visit Sucre every time we come down.

Neither desserts nor ice creams were good enough for the price. Really claustrophobic atmosphere, mirrors did not create the feeling of space. Lighting feels like an hospital.

This place is an awesome dessert place, they also have a new place in the French Quarter which does savoury food along with sweets but I have not been there. They Gelato, macaroons, cakes and milkshakes are sensational and it is one of the few places in new Orleans that can make a great latte (for those coffee drinkers). I highly recommend trying this place out for dessert.

This is a magical store with many delectable desserts. It’s a great place to grab gelato or even look at their wonderful bakery. They also do a lot of catering for weddings and events so go in and check out this beautiful store. The colors and the candies remind me a of a great dessert store in Paris.

I just love this little shop! I make sure to stop here every time I come to New Orleans. The gelato is good. They have no issues with you sampling every one on display. However, I come for the macaroons. The special flavor this go 'round was the blackberry lemon. I never thought those two flavors would go together; I was so wrong. I wish we would have bought more of those. There's only street parking available, but it's just a few short blocks from the streetcar stop on St. Charles Avenue. There's also a bus stop across the street that runs to Canal Street.
