I love me some sparks! A natural fiery and risky consequence of a search for performance...and then I remember they were artificially added, literally just for flare.

During FP3 several drivers were throwing up sparks at turn 3. By qualifying most of them had changed their set-up, their racing line, or both. Not Massa.

Maldonado being authentic. Some drivers are still willing to share a corner with him, apparently!

I was sad to see Force India drop their beautiful white-orange-green livery, but as the 2015 season ends I have to say I love how this car looks in the sun.

Carlos Sainz Jr's engine gave a preview of his first-lap retirement during the installation laps, when it stalled at the pit exit while the driver practiced a standing start.

A queue of hot engines formed up behind him, with Hamilton's engine even puffing some smoke.

As close as Hamilton ever got to Rosberg...after the first pit stop, Rosberg went wide once on turn 1, and there were three or so laps where the battle was very close.

Glued to the screen

This pictorial is mildly disturbing. I suppose that is the idea.

"The attention you're paying your screen right now—and while you endlessly scroll through Facebook, emails, Netflix, and Instagram—is the subject of a new photo series from French photographer Antoine Geiger, SUR-FAKE. What appear to be casual snapshots of people going about their phone-addicted lives become sinister, Dementor-from-Harry-Potter-like scenarios under his digital paintbrush. That's right, your face is getting sucked right off your head and into the single object that absorbs more of our time than sleep."
