I actually remember reading comics when I was a kid that would advertise the Hostess cakes. The most memorable to me was in The Amazing Spider-man. He would always have a Hostess fruit pie after defeating the bad guy, in his Hostess advertisement. I will miss the Hostess Cherry fruit pie the most...subliminal messaging...

+1 If you'll miss Twinkies!

So very true. Stay one step ahead of our zombie brethren if you want to survive...or watch The Walking Dead.

*How You Picture Yourself In a Zombie Apocalypse*

How many of you have a zombie escape plan? .... Although its a bit hard to see you can click on the picture to see the full thing. SO freaking true on this... How many people plan to be eaten 5 minutes after the outbreak? :)

P.s. Almost time for walking dead again [¬º-°]¬ [¬º-°]¬ [¬º-°]¬[¬º-°]¬

Very true. There are always multiple takes on reality. Most talk about how cool it would be to rise from nobody in society to zombie slaying king, but very few discuss the harsh realities that come with the former opportunity.

So I was half-right and half-wrong. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are Libertarians. They hate conservatives, but they hate liberals even more. Pretty cool...I guess they are Ron Paul supporters. This makes me happy.

And this is why they should not bring back the original cast. Idiotic...

Harrison Ford wants Han Solo to die, and Carrie Fisher wants Princess Leia to kill him. What do you think? Solo brought down by the woman he loves?

A new contemporary take on the impending zombie pandemic. It will take a lot of good advertising to make me want to go to the actual theater to see this, but I will definitely check it out when it hits Redbox.

Ashley decided she was going to go Swayze Crazy, Road House style, last night and picked a fight with a much larger dog. I think she finally learned that she is a little dog. Dr. Jeff had to bandage her up and if you are laughing at the bandage job just remember Dr. Jeff has not practiced his Dr. skills since he was 5 years old.

She literally hates any dog she sees man. She just got away from me and she attacked the neighbors dog. My neighbor, who's name is also Ashley, was very sincere and helpful. It was not her or her dogs fault, but all my Ashley's fault. Hopefully she learned her lesson and will become just a little more docile.

I saw a video on google+ the other day where Bill Maher says if you vote Mitt Romney into office you are going to let the bible thumping jesus freaks continue to have a say so in the direction our world is moving. Why should they not be able to speak their opinion, but you can? Why is it so crazy to believe that people are actually pro-life, anti-euthanasia, and do not consider the global warming crisis to be true? Is it not more crazy to promote death like he does in this video?

I wish I could have informed Governor Romney of this info before the 3rd debate.

Soldiers do still train with BAYONETS as a last line of defense. Do Soldiers use BAYONETS, no. Do they need BAYONETS, absolutely.

As for HORSES, I am sure that no one ever expected our modern military to ever use HORSES for anything other than ceremony honors, but our U.S. Special Forces used HORSES to traverse the rugged mountains of Afghanistan.

It was the news the world breathlessly waited for immediately after the 9/11 terror attacks: a report of the first American troops on the ground in Afghanistan. All at once the world’s attention focused on an iconic photo of those Special Operations Forces doing something no American military had done in nearly a century: They rode horses into combat. Their secret mission: secure northern Afghanistan by advising the warring tribal factions that formed the Northern Alliance. During the 2011 Veterans Day Parade on November 11, a new monument to these men — and to all Americans in uniform — will make its way down New York City’s famed Fifth Avenue on the way to its final home, a stone’s throw from Ground Zero. Roll of the Die is my favorite comic shop to pick up my weekly and monthly favorite titles. The staff (especially Mark [he was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to help me find the older, rarer, book I was looking for, which was my first visit]) are always helpful and sincere. Thanks to all at RotD.
