The service was very welcoming and friendly. There wasn't much of a wait to be seen after I arrived either. They were able to schedule appointments for me and my wife one after another although it took about 2 weeks to be seen after making the appointments. The exams were very detailed by the techs and the ophthalmologist. I've never warn glasses but in the last few years my near sight has been getting blurrier. I was amazed how clearly I could see with the examples the ophthalmologist chose for me. After about an hour of exams, we went to the showcase area. The selection is pretty big. There are all kinds of styles and brands from low end to high end designer brands. I thought they were a little on the pricey side but then again I wouldn't know since I've never had to purchase glasses. I've seen prices at BJ's which are much less. You're probably better off taking your prescription to a wholesale warehouse if you're a member or Walmart if you want to save some money. My wife ordered her glasses from BJ's at a much lower cost for a designer brand. My glasses costed about $200 at Focus Eye for a low end brand but I like them. I don't care about designer brands. For detailed exams, I do recommend Vision Eye but I didn't like the prices.

my aunt had a serious eye infection a few months ago. her eye exam was very through . she was seen by Dr Esperion. he really was worried about her eyes. she was given three prescriptions, we had several return visits were we saw the newest woman Dr. she was very concerned about the progress we were making with this eye infection. very caring doctors the staff was also very personable and helpful regarding the fact that my aunt cannot walk well due to a stroke....A very dedicated staff.

The best doctors and staff around. I always have a pleasant visit. The office is kept extremely clean and the staff are helpful in giving good advice. I honestly wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

This was an extremely bad experience. The billing department sent a bill to collections without sending me a notice or even giving me a courtesy call to see if there was a problem. The dispute was with my insurance company, not me, but they decided to ruin my credit without warning. They were not even sorry after I called to resolve the problem. Avoid at all costs.

Every time I come here I have to wait forever. I visited in September 2016 and I waited for 2 hours before being seen. I'm here now in November 2016 (Made the very first 8AM appointment of the day) and I'm sitting here still waiting. The Doctor isn't even here yet. Very disappointing because the service is good, but the respect for other people's time is -completely- lacking. You can imagine how the other appointment will back up if they are starting out late first thing in the morning.

I love Focus Eye Health & Vision!!! My husband has been a client for 40+ years starting back when Dr. Berman took over the practice in the late 70's and have been a client for at least 6 or 7 years. Dr. E. and his staff put so much into making my new lenses work for me and even though I live and work 45 minutes to an hour away it is worth it to me. I love all the girls at the front desk and enjoy our conversations before and after my exams. Keep up the excellent work!

I had to cancel my appointment and called again 30 min later to get another appointment but apparently that wasent ok for Kristina who answered the phone. Although i got the appointment i felt as though i wasn't welcome so i called again to cancel once again. Your employee Kristina needs a serious attitude check if shes going to be talking to customers and taking appointments.

I wouldn't return here unless they started paying me to. They use strong arm tactics to get you in the door such as setting up appointments without your consent and denying contact approvals for scripts that are 1 month out of date. My Rx has been the same for 10 years, but the D.O. even got that wrong on the first try and I had to haggle with the front desk to prevent a second exam. We will not be returning!

Pamella, Thank you for your feedback about your visit with Focus, I'm sorry that your experience didn't meet your expectations or our standards. I want to address a couple of points in your review. First of all, we don't employ any type of "strong arm" tactics to get you in our office. We don't have any ability to force you to come to see us. We do pre-appoint you for your annual exam a year after you come in for a comprehensive exam in order to monitor their eye health and maintain the best possible vision. Our patients are informed of this when they come in to the office, and we schedule them for 1 year after their appointment date. Beginning a month before the appointment, we send out letters, emails, and texts to remind patients that they are due for their annual eye health check. Either the patient would follow through with this appointment, or reschedule. If they decide not to come in, or don't respond at all, no further action is taken. We have a responsibility to our patients to make sure that their eyes are taken care of, and we have found that the pre-appointment process is the best way to do this. In your case, when you contacted us most recently, it was about a year and a half since your last exam. Contact lens prescriptions are legally good for 1 year, and glasses for 2 years. If it has been over a year, we wouldn't be able to refill your contact lens prescription. We will, and are legally bound, to fill your glasses prescription, but we recommend an exam to make sure that your eyes have not changed. Very often, your eyes will change year to year, and it is to your benefit to have a thorough exam to make sure that your vision has not changed before you invest in a pair of glasses that may not provide the best vision because they are based on an old prescription. I again apologize for your experience in our office. Please rest assured that the policies that we have in place are in our patients' best interest. Your review seems to insinuate that we are trying to extract as much money from you as we can. If you think greed is our motivation, we make much more money from happy patients returning year after year for their eye care and recommending their friends and families than we do from making a few extra bucks in one visit, which results in an unhappy patient leaving an unhappy review. I know that a good business relationship benefits both sides involved, and that is how I choose to treat my patients and run my business.
