This is a different dining experience. A more European French style, artistic creations, amazing flavors all served at a leisurely pace. More of a art gallery experience than a restaurant.

I have dined here several times. Chef Regan is warm and welcoming host. The food while brilliant and beautifully plated, does not lack for flavor and intensity. This is a good choice for fine dining without some of the "taking yourself so serious" trappings.

Elizabeth presents a multi-course dining experience, with all the foods being very seasonal. The dishes are tailored to the season, and are presented in interesting molecular gastronomy manners. The centerpiece usually contains something edible, as well presentations may involve a terrarium. There are wine pairings available, and the staff will let you split a tasting among 2 diners. A must-dine for the gourmands in Chicago.

I believe this is the best dining experience in Chicago. Imagine combining the creativity of Alinea with the "tastiness" of Schwa in an environment which is all about the food. Creativity was amazing with such dishes as bear, edible dirt, sea urchin all suprising with twists and turns which almost play out in a playful narrative.

I went for the fairytale menu. It was delicious. It's fairly priced. There are places that are better and more expensive, but you won't be disappointed coming to Elizabeth whatsoever.

Great service and dish presentation. The taste was good but not as special as they look.

A phenomenal dinner. Tiny intense burst of flavor from small foraged flowers, herbs, berries (nightshade, queen anne's lace, fennel pollen, and other flowers) on top of a range of creative dishes each highlighting a few ingredients (malted barley, beets, bear, tomatoes, roe). We were also lucky enough to get to sit right next to the kitchen watching everything come together. Bravo!
