Raj Koothrappali was an aspiring young meteorologist/astrophysicist who lived in a bit of a superhero fantasy world. He always wondered what it would be like to have super powers like the heroes of Paragon City. As fate would have it his wish would be granted. While in the desert leading a small team of meteorologist students observe a meteor show one basketball sized space rock stuck the campsite. While the students ran in terror Raj was fascinated by the strange faint blue glow emanating from the rock and quickly gathered his instruments to get samples. As he got close to it the blue glow grew brighter. Then before he could pull away the energy from the rock shot out and washed over his body infusing him with tremendous power.

It was then that most of the students starting coming back to see what the damage was and if everyone else was OK. The power that was coming from the meteor seemed to cause it to crack and looked like it would explode. Raj reached out to the meteor just before it exploded and a blue force surrounded the meteor. He yelled at the students to get back as he grabbed the blue energy orb and threw it skyward where it exploded near the Stratosphere. Amazed and grateful the students couldn’t believe what just happened.

It was the catalyst that sparked his childlike desire to live the life of a true hero. So he took the name of Paragon Justice. One for the city known for heroes and Two for the Justice he would provide and protect.
