Great place for a cute casual date. The prices are cheap. Don't bother getting the Sno cone, it's just average.

The food was just ok. The quality was very low and cheap. They used the cheapest ingredients they could get, but charged me for the best ingredients. The sandwich maker has old food or grease baked on the edges. Though the servers seemed very nice they used the same gloves to scratch their faces as they did to make the food. After my food came and I ate it I saw one of the servers scratch their face and then make someone else's food. When they bring the food to you they are touching the top of the plates while carrying it over. I saw fingerprints shine in the light of the store on top of the plates. This means the plate is dirty when they sit it on your table. They do make soda and the like from scratch with syrup, but what they are using is corn syrup in everything. Not directly, but it comes in everything they sale. I ate some soup and it was the same soup I could purchase for $0.78 a can at the grocery store; they charged me almost $4.00 for it. All these people that wrote reviews didn't ask about the ingredients they just consumed the end product, but if you investigate the quality of product you find it is very low. I like the idea of the, "Fountain", but in this case the quality of product and/or service was low to mediocre. It isn't worth the money.

They make it in front of you at the soda bar! Fun and old experience.

My daughter and I decided to visit this quaint soda shop. They were moderately busy, but there were many tables available. We assumed we were suppose to seat ourselves, as there wasn't any sign to state otherwise. Some of the tables were dirty, but perhaps they had been busy seeing that it was late on a Friday afternoon. A waitress promptly came to our table. Our order was brought to us in perfect timing, and my club sandwich and chocolate shake were delicious. We took our ticket up to the register by the front door, and had to wait a few minutes for someone to come from behind the bar to check us out. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go back.

I went with a girlfriend and her 1st grader granddaughter. My BLT was very tasty and the others in my party ate all theirs so it must have been good as well. I was too full for one of their ice cream specialties so I'll have to come back for that. We sat at the counter, service was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and I don't have a single bad thing to say about this establishment. I will be coming back.

Everything is just like the archetypical old fashioned ice cream and shakes stores from before I was born (so I am assuming that is true from the pictures and stories I've heard). It's great fun and the food, drinks, and shakes are excellent.
