Forethought has a long history of undertaking sizable pro bono marketing research projects. Our causes have mostly centered on homelessness but have also included long term unemployment and poverty. In a past Federal election the research undertaken by Forethought assisted in the creation of a Federal Minister for the Homeless. This current round of work has been undertaken for Launch Housing, Melbourne’s largest independent provider of homelessness services.

The research found that Australians grossly over estimate how long homeless folks need assistance for and overwhelmingly believe that governments are doing too little to provide the crisis assistance that can keep families in their communities and children in their local school.
