Dr. Lisa Bardill Moscaritolo (Dean Lisa) has been newly
appointed as Dean for Students at Pace. She is thrilled to be here and looks
forward to working with the students. Before arriving at Pace, she served as
the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at Florida Atlantic
University for three
years. Some of her responsibilities included advising Student Government,
coordinating judicial affairs and overseeing Greek Life. Prior to her current position, Lisa was the
Director of Residence Life at the University
of Tampa. Lisa has 13
years of experience in housing and residence life at University
of Tampa, Barry University
and The University of Miami.
She attended the University
of Akron for five years
and obtained an Associates Degree in Business Management in 1985 and a BS in
Marketing in 1987. Lisa continued her education at Florida State
University and finished
her Masters in Higher Education and College Student Personnel in 1989. While
working full time, she finished an Education Specialists degree in Mental Health
Counseling in 1998 and a Doctorate in Leadership in 1999 from Barry University.
During the summer of 2003, Lisa was the Director for Student
Life for the Institute for Shipboard Education and Semester at Sea and traveled
with students, faculty and staff to 7 countries in the North and South Pacific
via the SS Universe Explorer. She
managed the recreational, social and spiritual programming, student conduct,
and mental health services for 340 students on the ship who were from 140
Dr. Bardill is a member of Alpha Phi International Fraternity and presently is serving as Nominations chair for the Southern Association for College Student Affairs (SACSA).
Lisa is an advocate for International Education and is
serving as Chair for the International Education Knowledge Community for
National Association Student Personnel Administration (NASPA). In the past she
has served as the International Symposium Coordinator for Sponsors. The
International Symposium is one of the signature events for the National
Association Student Personnel Administration (NASPA). She has also traveled on
an international exchange to France
with four other NASPA colleagues and has assisted in hosting the English delegation
in May 2003.
Lisa resides in Peekskill, NY with her husband, Joe, and their 4 lb Yorkie, Cinnamon. When Lisa is not at the university, she likes to travel, read, spin, walk her dog, and dine out. Stop by and say hello!
