Got a takeaway one night as my daughters are vegetarian and vegan, so thought it would be nice to try. Also invited my mother and my step father round (didn't tell him nothing contained meat). Everyone loved it! It was so delicious and had great flavours and my step father did not suspect a thing and was shocked to learn the truth when we told him as he said it was the best Chinese he had ever had!! I would highly recommend it especially getting crispy seaweed and the dumpling soup. Will be definitely be going back again!!!

Great little place. Not a vegetarian myself but some friends and family are and all enjoyed our meal. I can definitely tell the difference with the meat substitutes but the dishes are very tasty and no worse than any other Chinese restaurant I dine at. Highly recommend it, especially the crispy noodles.

Awesome place for anyone, especially if you are veggie or vegan! Good Service, Good Food - A must try are the Singapore Noodles and the Redang Curry.

The best veggie/vegan Chinese food that I have ever tasted. Not greasy or sloppy. Vegetables very fresh and not overcooked. Wide range of clever, protein-rich meat and seafood substitutes. Decent portions. Very attentive, patient, friendly, service. Me and my kids went away full and happy and not massively out of pocket. Would recommend to anyone including non-veggies. If you avoid the set menus you can fill up happily for under £10 a head.

This is one of the best places I have been to, bearing in mind we have to travel 1h 20 to get there, we try and go every month. Most food is vegan and yes its the best tasting Chinese food I have had for a long time. Like the other comments it may not look like much on the outside but it is a bit of a hidden gem. The food is always good, the staff are nice and its fairly cheap. We always buy some food to take away after eating so we can eat it over a few days. They also sell frozen food which is good value for cooking at home. Its definitely worth visiting......more than once!

Booked a table for 5 on the 21st for my mum's birthday, having confirmed that they'd be open despite it being Chinese New Year. Turned up on the night to find the light's out, no one in sight, and a sign on the door saying 'Closed for Chinese New Year!' Almost ruined my mum's birthday evening! Please get your information right next time to avoid such crippling disappointment.

This is one of my fave cafe places to have a really nice, super inexpensive, casual and healthy lunch, and the people who work here are so friendly, can't wait to go again! My mom and I go almost every week, and she isnt a vegetarian but loves it just as much as I do!

I love Veggie world! I've been going here every month or two for about ten years now. The food is consistently tasty and the service is always friendly, portions are generous and the lunch prices are amazing value. The venue is humble and unpretentious, but the food is fresh, tasty and varied - with a whole vegetarian menu full of different delights. As a lifelong vegetarian I love the choice, and my non-veggie friends have also almost universally enjoyed trying the mock meats too!
