This historical landmark on the Space Coast was established in 1962. Home to 5 restaurants, 4 bars, gift shops, free live musical entertainment and an 800 foot long fishing pier. In addition, Cocoa Beach evolved into the “Surfing Capital of the East Coast” and the Pier became the center of surfing activity.

Took my girlfriend and spent a cool, rainy January day fishing on this pier....fishing pole rental...license....bait $20 per person total. Saw people catch three sharks including what looked like a baby Hammerhead. We caught "spots"(baitfish)...several Pompano, and Whiting. I was mugged for one of my fish by two of the biggest, weirdest(black with white heads), boldest pelicans I've ever laid eyes on. Onlookers thought I was some kind of animal abuser when I yanked my hand and fish out of a huge pelican's mouth and chased them off. They came right back. A fun, low cost way to spend a day fishing. I drank in their bar too. For a Midwesterner from Indiana everybody there sounds distinctly northern/eastern(not a southern accent anywhere in the mix), but everybody we interacted with down there was super nice to us.

Spent new year's day on the beach and stopped for drinks at the tiki bar at the end of the Pier. They make very good Pina Colada.

We went on the Pier over Labor Day Weekend. What a great experience from start to finish. The men collecting money to park were very helpful. The men that collected the money to get onto the pier were so nice and even pointed out NASA to us. We truly enjoyed ourselves so much that we cannot wait to come back to FL another time and stay at Cocoa Beach.

We had a great time but we didn't have to deal with any of the annoyances described in the other reviews. We walked to the pier (along the beach) so we didn't have to pay for parking, and our service was relatively fast (drinks only, didn't order food). The pier is quaint and well-maintained. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a drink while chatting or looking down over the beach. We were also told that we could go to the end of the pier for free with our drink receipts, but it was late and we headed back without trying it.

All staff Rude. Food way overpriced. Drinks overpriced and watered down. They need a different resturant to come in. Been here 4x, this is the Last. Don't waste your money.

More hype to it than it is worth. You have to pay to park in their lot which isn't worth it. Find other parking and walk. You also have to pay in order to go have a drink at the Tiki Bar at the end of the pier. You can get free pier admission with purchases at other restaurants, but I wouldn't pay to go sit and have a drink only to pay more. Nice to watch surfers when there are good waves, but is pretty touristy and not really a place I am aching to go back to.

Beautiful place. Underrated and often not crowded. Nice place to score some great pictures too.
