I swapped out a 2014 Fox Talas 27.5 140-160 for a solo air Pike. The Pike is amazingly better. I could not tune the Fox for plushness AND support simultaneously. You can do one only. The ability to dial in LSC in the Open mode on the pike is the bomb
I've had my 8-10 mtb's to date and all were either supportive but felt like crap on the minor rough stuff and roots, or, vice-versa. So you could tune for one but not the other. With the pike it's possible to tune for both scenarios. By way of example, my riders weight is 72kg (154lbs) and on a solo air 150mm Pike, I find 25% sag (measured seated) with 7 clicks of rebound out from fully fast with 6 clicks of LSC out from fully fast is extremely supple in the chattery stuff yet, supportive for mid to big sized hits. It's only now I realise how shit the earlier forks were. The pike runs unusually high in the travel and this sort of setup I'm using makes further use of that, so its invariably in the plusher area of the fork. Hope this helps.
