"Tarnished Gold"

It was a busy weekend up in the city. Saw friends I haven't in a while, and got a chance to see Sean Hayes play at The Independent, which was amazing.

But to get back up and break the streak of photo-less trips to San Francisco was by far one of the highlights.

+Toby Harriman is one of the most talented people of our generation I've had the pleasure of meeting. It's great to see recognition for such talent in such a big way!
Adobe Inspire Magazine
I guess you could say I am just a little bit stoked about this  Back in August I got an email from from some nice folks at Adobe, asking to interview me for the featured spot in Octobers Inspire Magazine. Well there was no delay in saying yes to that! I am still blown away by this and have been very eager to share this with you. I noticed today that it was out a day early, so here it is!!

The best and more interactive way to view this is through their iPad App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adobe-inspire/id536737621?mt=8

Or directly on their website here: http://www.adobe.com/inspire/2013/10/interview-toby-harriman.html

"Sur No. 37"

A great sunset I got to share with my lady a few weekends ago. This spot is at the foot of the road that heads up the mountain to some of my favorite camping spots in Big Sur. Definitely 4x4 country and man was it foggy, but +Mark Gvazdinskas you know where I mean.

Been getting out and learning the ropes of shooting the #MilkyWay  and other night sky scenes with +Mark Gvazdinskas. I've been inspired to try by the works of +Dave Morrow and many others.

I'm looking forward to getting out more and more and capturing some amazing scenes!

I'm looking forward to writing content for my own blog once it's finished, but I also write for the +Really Right Stuff  blog pretty often. Some very technical stuff in there, and my own will be more a combination of tech and anecdotal "behind the shot" type stuff, but it's been great contributing to something that reaches such a wide audience.

I shot this one earlier in March. While parts of the country were braving wind, sleet, snow, black of night, and all that, we were enjoying this gorgeous scene.
It never really gets old. I will never ever leave California.

Edited in Adobe Lightroom 4.
