With the debt ceiling in the news, I thought it appropriate to repost this video. If you think you know what money is or where it comes from, you're probably wrong. Answer: Banks conjure money out of thin air. If you care about understanding how, make sometime to watch this video.

It won't make you happy, but it will make you wiser.

I might need a lock on my office door. Nora keeps coming in and confirming that "Daddy is working" and that she should be "leaving Daddy alone". Every time I yell at her she tells me that she loves me very much. Grrrr!!!

Okay, so if someone cross-posts something to Google+ and Facebook, should I, in the interest of discussion, leave the same comment on both? This could get nightmarish very fast.

App Idea: You give the app your social networking credentials and it posts "Happy Birthday" on your friends' walls/feeds, on your behalf, on the appropriate day, as well as "likes" anything posted to your wall on your birthday.

Version 2.0 will only post to the walls of people that posted to your wall on your last birthday, also known as the tit-for-tat algorithm, known to be the optimal game theory solution to repeated playing of the Prisoner's Dilemma.
