My room had mold around the vent, so the maintenance guy just smeared it into the wall with a rag. My patio sliding door wouldn't shut all the way, so it was letting in noise and letting out the cold air from the A/C. I asked the maintenance guy to fix it and he just pulled it as hard as he could and latched it with a metal latch they put there to "fix" the problem. It didn't keep the noise out though and it is incredibly difficult to latch and unlatch. the people we stayed with were on the side of the building and the wind blows through so hard and makes so much noise that they had a very difficult time even hearing each other speak. Also, every room is supposed to have wi-fi, but the wi-fi didn't work in any of the four rooms we and our friends were staying in. Lastly, a city water main broke and we were completely without water for about 8 hours. However, even after it was fixed and the city had returned water to all nearby buildings, this hotel didn't have cold water for floors 10 and below for multiple days. We had to shower in our friends' rooms because they were on a higher floor. Sad part is, we were in one of their best rooms. It was an ocean front corner room, which is supposed to be one of the larger, nicer rooms. Edited 4/30/14: just had a more competent maintenance person come up with my Google review in hand and fix my issues. I guess the moral is, keep complaining until it's fixed. They also refunded us for the 2 nights the water was out. I ended up fixing the door myself as it was just off track. One other note though, Tiki's Bar & Grill is on the 3rd floor. It is a fun place to eat or drink, but they have bands every night and you can hear them in your room. My wife and I were both able to sleep through the noise, but some may not be able. If you rent a car, I would recommend parking it at the zoo lot just around the corner from the hotel. It is $1 per hour, so if you only park it for 10 hours overnight you save about $17 by not using the hotel's valet.

I am from Ohio and paid $1,500.00 for a beach wedding through this company. I could have gone to Lake Erie and had a better beach. The beach was five feet off a parking lot. It was covered with rocks and bird feces. There was a rainwater runoff trench from the parking lot to the ocean. There were beached canoes right next to our ceremony, and old tires just lying around. There was a food truck 20 feet from my wedding! The wedding planner could tell we were upset, but she abruptly left at the first available opportunity. I would highly recommend you not use this company, but at the very least do not get the beach wedding! I requested a refund two days ago and they said they sent the request to their Vice President. Still haven't heard from them. Highly disappointed.
