Walked in and specifically asked if they had a pitching/chipping area. Young lady said yes and pointed out to the range. I had never been there before. Paid $9.00 for bucket of balls. Walked out and the only green there was roped off precluding chipping and pitching. I came exclusively to work on those shots. Went back in and explained that the green was roped off and not available for what I wanted to do. I asked for refund and after a few minutes of pecking on a computer the young lady said she could not give me a refund. $9 bucks down the tubes all because I was told before I paid that there was a chipping/area. Never returning. When asking what is available here, "trust but verify".

Sorry that you had a bad experience and our facility didn't meet your needs! Check out the Rawls course for a great pitching/chipping area!

I love this place the range balls are priced well and you can get a bucket of beer to go along with it. the food is great the staff is awesome and love the washer pit. all in all I go here as much as possible during the summer and when its not to cold otherwise. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I hope my review helps you make your decision to check this place out.

Quite possibly the best bbq in Lubbock, They don't serve it every day, but I've heard that they might in the future. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Go out, eat some bbq, and listen to live music on the patio.

All Good Things Must Come To An End! Summer of 2013 my family "lived" at The Range. Good BBQ, cold beer and a place for our young kiddos to run around and play. We went for the first time this summer and within 10 minutes knew it would be our last. The BBQ and batting cages were gone BUT Crusty's pizza was there and was GREAT! However, the VERY grumpy old man (part owner) rudely instructed me to get my kids OFF his "putting" greens where they were barefoot and playing with an inflatable ball. Not a sole was putting. He said they would ruin "his" grass but they could play with their ball behind the adults hitting range balls. Are you kidding me?? Same type of grass and they could get hit by a ball or club! His putting greens are where my kids and many Lubbock kids had the time of their lives last year running and playing on. It's right where the tables are and parents can see their kids. There they are safe from harms way. We did have our kids move from his beloved greens just to watch other kids and adults sit and open birthday presents, eat cake and run around on it. That was MY last time to go to the once family oriented Range and I will most definitely spread the word!
