I've just experienced what I think has to be THE WORST customer service I have ever come across in my entire life. I arrived at the Esso on Malling Street in Lewes at around 4pm in order to clean my car. Initially I went into the store to purchase a car wash ticket and also to enquire if there were any paper towels available to clean the inside of my car. The woman who served me - probably in her early 60s with badly dyed blonde hair - had the most astonishingly hostile attitude from the moment I started dealing with her. It was almost as if she couldn't believe the stupidity of someone asking her where the paper towels were stored. I purchased the car wash ticket, got back in my car and drove it around to the entrance of the car wash. When I got to there, I noticed there were two entrances - one appeared to be closed as the shutters were down and the other one had bollards in front of it, indicating it was out of order. I went back into the shop to ask the same woman for advice. Asking something along the following lines: "is the car wash working, it appears to be closed?" Instead of offering to help, or pointing me in the right direction - she instead gave me a load of attitude, made me out to be stupid saying "no one has ever asked such a stupid question before" (or something along those lines) and basically sat on her backside gesturing and huffing at the whole inconsiderateness of me, the customer, asking for assistance. I went back to the car wash to see if I could figure out what I was supposed to do, but it genuinely looked like it was closed with no signage to indicate anything. I went back into the shop and admittedly I lost my temper and swore at the woman as I was flabbergasted by her rudeness and unhelpfulness. I demanded a refund and she refused to serve me - so one of her equally badly trained, rude and unhelpful colleagues had to process my refund for me. I explained that it looked like the car wash wasn't working properly. It doesn't matter whether IT WAS or it WASN'T - I was asking for help and assistance - not to be treated like an imbecile. After my refund went through, I got back into my car to drive off but at this point the shutters on the car wash which I thought was closed started coming up. Also at this point, the horrible old woman who served me had managed to get up off her lazy backside to come out and make rude gesticulations towards the open car wash - laughing at the fact that she'd been proved right: the car wash was working (completely and utterly missing the point of my anger - i.e. her unacceptable rudeness and unhelpfulness). It's rare for me to make such a strong worded letter of complaint, but that woman really needs to be sacked. She has no place dealing with members of the public. Horrendous!!!

Very positive experience dealing with this agency. I was disappointed at not securing the first flat I looked at, but Lee went out of his way to help me find another similar, suitable property. I was late arriving to look at the property but Lee waited nearly half an hour for me to turn up and didn't complain when I arrived. The team at the agency made all the paperwork and process very easy and I the fees they charge are very reasonable compared to other agencies. I'd highly recommend this company!
