I'm not a big fan of writing these things. When I go out to eat or shop I EXPECT GOOD SERVICE for my hard earned money. But I felt this incident was worthy. One night last week I needed to pick up a part for my buddy for his Bow. I shop up here in North Phoenix so it only makes sense to have my Bow worked on up here. Being as I was going to be in Chandler I made the trip for him when I finished my business....WOW is all I can say... spoke with a dude named Junior who was beyond helpful. I use a local reputable shop but this place was in another league in terms of service and selection. He went over all my options, and actually sold me an item that was cheaper and better suited for what my buddy needed. If all the help is like this guy, I will start to plan my trips and start using Archery Headquarters.

My first visit to Archery Headquarters was very pleasurable. We purchased a Groupon. Junior was very knowledgeable and yet he made this very simple for me and my son as I have never been in the store at all and had not yet bought my first bow. I am sure that everyone there is good, but ask for Junior or Danny if you can.

Great shop, the employees were very friendly and helpful, the store was busy and I managed to buy a bow for my daughter and myself amidst a great deal of activity. I highly recommend this shop, also, great indoor range.

This place is the only spot I go to for my archery needs. Every single person there is so down to earth and knows everything when it comes to bows and hunting. Plus I've never been to a shop that remembers you and the previous issues you've had like archery headquarters. Junior helped me and my buddy out today and got us taken care of. If you want a shop that gives you a family feel and knows their stuff I'd strongly recommend this shop.

I don't even know where to start. When I arrived, there was 1 employee in the store and no customers. "Perfect Time to Shop" The man was looking at the laptop and said "what you looking for today" I told him I was looking around and he replied a scripted line about how he is there to help me and went back to looking at his computer. Over the course of 10 minutes I gave him every opportunity to show me a bow and "Not Once" did he ever offer to show me a bow or help me with finding the right bow for me. After he was done telling me "all about him" and interrupting me 3 times with my interests, he went back to stocking the shelf while I was talking for the 4th time and I left. I then Traveled to Glendale/Phoenix to Corner Archery and Rhonda was able to get me into a Bow in Less than an hour. She was super Helpful and all the staff was willing to answer all of my questions. $2,600.00 later I was set up for this weekends 3D shoot. Thank you Rhonda (Corner Archery) and Too Bad for Archery Headquarters. "Hey Archery Headquarters", You never know who is going to walk into your store. Why don't you guys try to help someone and sell something! PS I still don't even know they guys name that worked at AH

Stopped into Archery Headquarters in Chandler to get a new arrow rest and a tune-up. It was my first time in and I will absolutely go back. Great service by Junior! Awesome place!

Loved it. Instructor was chill and really easy going. Patient and didn't host the class like a boot camp. Great archery 101.

Well, before I posted this, I read the other reviews and seems like customer service is a hit and miss at this place...a miss..twice for me unfortunately. I decided about a month ago I wanted to get into hunting archery...for a first timer...walking into a archery shop can be little intimidating. So first time, bout a month ago, I went in they asked me right away how can I help? I said what I was looking to do. At the end, bottom line I got from them was take our class first then we can talk..I agree a class isn't a bad idea but that doesn't mean you can't speak to me or educate me for even a minute. Or even entertain my amateur questions that you probably have heard a million times. After getting the cold shoulder..it put a bad taste in my mouth and I kind of dropped the archery thought. Fast forward to today...so typically one strike and your out in my book but this place is the closest archery shop to me by far and I really wanted help in selecting my first bow and build a relationship with a local shop I can go to in the future. Customer service is soooo important me and I just don't think there is an excuse for lack of it.. I walked in and there was no one visually there. No employees or customers. I heard few people talking in the back. About 20 seconds later a employee walked out and asked "how can I help you?" I responded with "I'm looking to purchase my first bow and would like some help in deciding which one is best for me" Right away, almost before I even finished speaking, he went on saying "well with the info you just gave me I can't help you and gave me a couple of ridiculous analogies to prove his point one being about my boots...which made no sense. Honestly in my head I thought...you asked me how could you help..I answered your question hoping it would be a start of a good conversation that would lead to some q/a and possibly a purchase at the end. So after he was done, I started to speak saying which brands I researched and like, my budget and in mid sentence he interrupted me and went back to his original point that it's hard for him to help me. It was very apparent at this point that he obviously was in the middle of something (or not) and needed to get back to the back room. I mean like rude pushy short and just not interested whatsoever...at this point I think I might of had a smile on my face because I couldn't believe someone would treat you that way when you walk in there store to spend money...anyway I just said thanks for your help and he high tailed it to the back office. I was like unreal! I stayed in there walking around checking things out for five minutes completely by myself just to see if someone would come out..nothing. Bottom line...to the employee "junior"..I hope hope hope your not the owner...people have good days and bad days..sometimes busier then they want to be....maybe didn't get laid the night before...but you have a lot to learn about customer service..treat everyone the same that walks in your door..not just the regulars. To anyone that reads this and looking for your first bow goto Ross outdoors in Phoenix. I drove 35 minutes to Ross and it started with the same first question but ended with amazing customer service from three different employees, they showed me tons of bows, gave me a crash course on all the hardware and tips for technique. I probably shot six bows multiple times. After my visit there, I was like wow night and day. I'm going back to Ross outdoors tomorrow to buy my first bow and I'm super excited about it!!
