I love how focused you are in all aspects of BEA. Books, meeting authors and publishers-- all centered around your area of concentration. I'm sure you did Cycbils proud as well. I'll dtart my training now and hope to be ready by next year!

There is no such thing as the perfect blog name-- unless someone else already has it! I've never been happy with mine, but am just glad I didn't name it something stupid. I love Ally Carter; if you use Netgalley, you should request Jude Watson's Loot, because it has jewel thieves rather like Heist Society. Enjoy Armchair BEA!

I started blogging in February of 2006-- I think that My Space might have been around at that time. I don't think bloggers ever consider themselves successful, no matter how many followers. I read middle grade books, so I have to say I'm not happy about TFIOS, because all of my 11 year old students want to read it, and I don't think they are quite ready for Green! Have fun with Armchair BEA.

Awesome! This is the just the right touch of "cartoon" for middle school- just a bit. What great covers. Will definitely look into these! Congratulations! If you do a blog tour, let me know!

I have a lot of students asking for The Fault in Our Stars, but I'm reluctant to buy it for middle school, given the language.

This book doesn't check out much, but I enjoyed it. I recently recommended it to a new student who is of Japanese descent, and he found it fascinating.

I've liked Durst's other books and wondered about this one. My 8th graders do a mystery unit, and some of my fantasy readers were balking at this-- I'll have to take a look at this one and see if it might work for them.

My big problem was the "nutritional supplement". Don't take candy from strangers! I did like this one, and was able to remember it a lot better than MacHale's Pendragon series!

Whew. I think I'm doing okay. I do a presentation every election day of 100 new books, so I have a standard format so I can cover things in an hour. I don't think people are bored-- we move too quickly!
