Thanks Nicole, this tea is our first step in converting our farms to a more bio diverse environment. Our long term vision is to  convert all of our farm this way.

Hi Nicole, Nice to know you liked our Shining Arrows. The more than usual level of oxidation than similar white teas is due to the fact that the entire moisture removal we do by shade drying, a  final sun drying is carried just before packing. We had observed over some repeated processing experiments that even doing a direct sun drying at any earlier stage makes the delicate buds to become more brittle, let alone other kill green methods. The menthol effect might be because of 2 habitat plants a wild grass native to Nilgiris and the other being eucalyptus.  Thanks for those keen obsevations

The Nilgiri biosphere has a great combination of climate, and altitude  this has to be effectively capitalized and wonderful teas are possible
