JUDGE RULES AGAINST N.S.A. PHONE DATA PROGRAM

"James Madison, the author of the Constitution, would be “aghast” to learn that the government was encroaching on liberty in such a way."

Certainly no more aghast than I am when a judge 224 years in the future considers Mr. Madison's viewpoint in deciding my safety in a time he could not possibly imagine or understand. The founders were just people, not gods that wrote a holy document we must strictly live by. It borders on religious fervor to try and interpret the 21st century by 18th century thinking. And the difficulty required to update the constitution, while intentional, is damaging to American society as there is no way it can keep up with the pace of change in modern society. In addition, the document has been hijacked by political parties through a political SCOTUS. is it reasonable that one man, Justice Roberts, play the role of a monarch? That a court should elect a President?

The constitution is out of date and needs some tweaking. It is a remarkable, document and most of its concepts will stand the test of time, but not all of them and a more timely way must be found to review, update and adopt change that is not frivolous.

+Les Schlain my grandmother and mom both began the minor issues around 75.

So, I would say 70-75 would be the range they need to decide on as the max for any Judge. They hold too much power to take chances that they are "losing it", especially a SC Judge.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF REPUBLICANS WORKING HARD IN STATES TO LEGISLATE THEIR PLATFORM AT THE STATE LEVEL, BECAUSE THEY CAN, AND BECAUSE IT CREATES DISTRACTING THEATRE AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL.

Do not underestimate these people just because the idiots are selected for news cycle sound bites, or passing insane bills. They are experts at turning our government into political theatre to distract people from bigger issues. They are the ruling class.

A more extreme and recent example was the SCOTUS giving Gay people the right to marry, which was happening sooner or later anyway, creating political theatre while they gutted the 1965 voting act at the same time so they could have the bigger prize of disenfranchising a huge number of voters without riots.

DRUG COMPANIES RECOMMEND EXPECTANT MOTHERS TO START A.D.H.D THERAPY IN LAST TRIMESTER

THE SELLING OF ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER

“The numbers make it look like an epidemic. Well, it’s not. It’s preposterous,” Dr. Conners, a psychologist and professor emeritus at Duke University, said in a subsequent interview. “This is a concoction to justify the giving out of medication at unprecedented and unjustifiable levels.”

"The Food and Drug Administration has cited every major A.D.H.D. drug — stimulants like Adderall, Concerta, Focalin and Vyvanse, and non-stimulants like Intuniv and Strattera — for false and misleading advertising since 2000, some multiple times."

Until our social conscience stops being generated, regulated and punished by big money, how can we develop a healthy moral compass we trust and works for the interests of the common good? We can't.

"The rise of A.D.H.D. diagnoses and prescriptions for stimulants over the years coincided with a remarkably successful two-decade campaign by pharmaceutical companies to publicize the syndrome and promote the pills to doctors, educators and parents. With the children’s market booming, the industry is now employing similar marketing techniques as it focuses on adult A.D.H.D., which could become even more profitable."

Many doctors have portrayed the medications as benign — “safer than aspirin,” some say — even though they can have significant side effects and are regulated in the same class as morphine and oxycodone because of their potential for abuse and addiction. Patient advocacy groups tried to get the government to loosen regulation of stimulants while having sizable portions of their operating budgets covered by pharmaceutical interests.

Developed a fiber optic sensor that fit through a 20 gauge sensor for doing continuous blood gas analysis. This was a fine project.. I was a graduate student when three of us (mostly one of the other guys) had this idea. I was the guy with the entrepreneurial blood. .Was able to raise seed money, then do a limited partnership, then raised over $20M is venture capital. This was my favorite because it took an a concept from an idea where I didn't know what the fuck to do through the entire product development cycle of a cases III medical device. It was also a great business teacher as I went from not knowing what the fuck to do to raising all that money. The science was my favorite part and I got to be in charge of it all the way from sensor development through clinical trials. There were a lot of big medical companies doing the same thing and we managed to stay ahead of the pack. The truth was that it just wasn't going to work for anyone. But it was a hell of a ride. So I classify this as crash and burn but oh baby what a way to burn! LOL.

I really enjoy G+ and and having intelligent conversations with people from multiple nationalities and world views. Can't stand intellectual snobs that talk down to you. Most of us have something to add to the conversation on G+.

Do not want to deal with racist, ethnocentric or egotistical people as there can be no meaningful discussion.

I very much enjoy finding people that I can learn from.
