Wouldn't it be incredible to lead a school where students are encouraged and supported to be 'moon shot thinkers'. That would be empowered learning!

It seems that the MOE in Ontario doesn't seem to want us to know what is buried in these pages-- that the current FDK Program  is having a negative impact on our most vulnerable students who require structure, consistency, routine and repetition, students  with executive functioning issues, anxiety, from priority populations such as poverty, First Nations children, those with  lack of home support, etc. It is clear that we have some work to do in transforming FDK into an experience that benefits ALL learners.
