Please join us at "Soil Health and Composting" workshop this Thursday, March 19th at 7PM at St. Mary’s Anglican Church – 780 McEvoy Street in Fredericton.
Our presenter, Toon Pronk, will show you how compost brings free nutrients to your garden and adds to the health of your vegetables no matter what type of soil you have. You'll learn about greens and browns, nitrogen and carbon, heat and moisture - all of them critical to great composting. Your questions about a closed system or open system, with a lid or without and how to troubleshoot will all be answered by Toon in this interactive presentation.
The cost for the workshop is $10 for non-members or free with your 2015 NBCHG membership.
Please note that our Seed Library featuring heritage, open-pollinated and non-genetically modified seeds will also be on site for everyone to enjoy.
